Worst Mailer Ever

I believe that I just recieved the worst mailer in the history of casino marketing. The sender is the San Ysabel casino located North East of San Diego I visited once maybe 8 weeks ago and lost $100 in about 40 minutes of BJ. This is a small casino. From my memory I would say they have maybe 250 machines or so, one bar, one pit with 6 or 8 tables, only 2 of which, BJ and 3CP were open when I was there on a Thursday evening. The mailer was a postcard that informed me I am a Table Games VIP: 
The red circles on the right side are match play coupons. They are perforated and you place the coupon on top your stack of chips, it is the same diameter as a chip. I eagerly flipped the post card and saw this:
HAHAHAH!!!! What a terrible marketing error. I cropped the photo so as to not share my address, but the other side of the postcard had my information and and offer for a $9 surf and turf (possibly a good deal). I don't know how this kind of mistake could happen. Anyone else ever recieved a mailer offering them a coupon for $0 in match play or slot play?

Need to post this on the thread ahigh is complaining about false advertising on match play. Nothing dishonest about this offer .

HAHAHA. I kind of am tempted to show up and try to play it. Probably smarter to tweet them the picture and make a fuss, maybe they will give me a consolation prize.

Since it's match play, put it down in the betting circle, atop nothing, and insist they deal you a hand. I mean a contract is a contract.

Obviously, there is a ratings computer program that is miscalculating the amounts of the free bets/match plays to be printed.
Or, you have an enemy in the computer room.

That's the beauty of it: unlike every other match play, here the specific terms of the promotion do not affect the value of the coupon! :)

Congrats, it is hard to find a match play that is worth 100% of face value.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

You should show up on January 16th with the second coupon and ask if you can use it even though it's expired.

Perhaps the Zero is to keep players from trying to bet solely the paper chip which is red and therefore presumed to be worth five dollars.
Lets face it... many casinos offer these "come in and spin the wheel to find out how much" deals. The wheel of course has a great many ONE dollar positions and relatively few ultra high value positions. At what point do "winners" become more pissed off than anything else?
One Vegas blogger of long ago complained that she had parked in the far reaches of the parking lot and had had to drag it in high heels all the way through the parking lot and the casino to get to the Players Club Desk at which she was finally awarded her one freakin' dollar.
Is it reasonable to expect these free come-ons to always be the grand prize? Don't players realize One Freakin' Dollar is more likely than the Cadillac and Smiling Model?

Foxwoods frequently sends mailers offering free items that are not worth a whole lot. T shirts, towels and various dollar store doodads are among them. They are distributed during specific hours and require preregistration. If you don't show after registering the cost of the free gift gets deducted from your points. What a nation!
