Maybe the claim was that 'Live' continued to increase revenue in spite of MGM-NH? they made some sort of claim; maybe the claim is no longer valid too.

Have you been to 'Live' recently? I know you used to check them out some.

just read the article, and this is included:

"Live casino in Anne Arundel County, where revenue is down an average of 17.5 percent since MGM opened. Horseshoe in Baltimore and Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia also have reported ­losses."

I couldn't find the article where 'Live' was bragging about MGM-NH's effect being a big yawn.

I was at Charles Town Races and Slots earlier this year, and I would have to say I could point to things there that showed they were trying harder, including an attempt to be friendlier, and to comp better. Lower minimums generally and going from 2x to 3x4x5x at the craps table. That last bit seems to be a real barometer for the 'feeling the competition' atmosphere.

I haven't been to 'Live' in a long time.
