Running kids marathon

Totally not thread worthy but why not. Should have taken bets on my time. Running the last leg of the kids marathon with son. It is the largest one in the nation with over 7000 kids participating. We run the last mile of the Pittsburgh marathon which is tomorrow.
Kids run 1 mile a week after school for 25 weeks, it all ends today with the last mile being run on the marathon course.
I haven't run a mile in probably 10 years. Goal is to break 11 min

Good luck. An eleven minute mile should be achievable, if you don't pull some muscle you forgot even existed.

"running kids marathon" is a pretty good description of what happens when Axel violates the court order and goes with in 500 feet of a school.

I saw the tittle and your name as the last poster. I knew the tittle was going to get you all hot and bothered. Thanks. I would have been able to run it a little quicker but I got a terrible cramp in my side at 3/4. My son ran ahead and then came back. He did that 3 times so he probably went 1.3 miles. Best part was at the end chick filet was handing out free chicken sandwiches. Bananas and fruit cups were there too but yeah gonna skip that for chicken. I was actually surprised I got cramp, maybe I should have actually gone to olive garden last night

had 2 baseball games today after the race. Boy do I feel like crap. Today took a lot out of me. It was just a mile but geee. No way I got dehydrated over a mile.
