I'm curious to see how old everybody is. I'm a young buck, only 24 years old. It's weird being such a young (hobbyist) AP. None of my millennial friends gamble. I've made friends that are 40+ years old through mutual gambling interests.

Any life advice for a young buck like me?

I’m 26. I generally don’t consider myself an AP, but I can definitely confirm that very few people our age have any interest in gambling.

I think it’s mostly a function of not having the disposable income to gamble. A couple of my friends who are in their 30’s have been more interested in going to the casino as they start to become more financially stable.

First time i stepped foot into a casino was at 27.

Even then it wasnt to gamble. I wad interested in some of the attractions opening at Foxwoods and took a bus there. They handed me $10 for table play when I stepped off the bus

Turned that into $110

Returned the very next week and won $1400

Returned the next week and handed every penny back

But I was hooked
For Whom the bus tolls; The bus tolls for thee

I will turn 60 later this year.
Still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

I am not old enough to be your mother(Well, I COULD be old enough to be your mother under very rare and horrible conditions. I am old enough to have babysat you for movie theater money. ;)

Ditto. I’m 59. But I am NOT an AP.

Oh, sure, I won’t make stupid bets (well, not many anyway), but far from AP.
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁
