I actually had to drown them in Salsa Sauce. (shoe leather and salsa sauce: my Specialty Dish).
More recently my MoW guy gave me a bonus "lunch" (as if I had the will power to set it aside and wait). Sugary peanut butter, sugary jelly, sugary this, sugary that... is it any wonder i was comatose for two and a half hours? I even received an apple, but figure that into each life a little fructose must fall.
Cooked up two trays for Sunday afternoon.

Sugar is cheap, that's why it's
in everything. It's also addictive.
The fructose in the apple has
more sugar than the white sugar
and corn syrup that's is everything
else.
Quote: SOOPOOI just had two whoppers. Both extra mayo extra onion. One was "Impossible", the other regular. I ate the impossible one first. I 'think' I was able to tell the difference, but it was not much. Since the 'extra mayo' probably makes neither of them remotely 'healthy', I will buy whichever one is cheaper. They were equally priced at $3 during this 'special'.
Ugh, I LOVE mayo but even the default amount of mayo on a whopper is too much for me.
I am pretty sure impossible meat is horrible for you. It’s all processed vegetable oils.

Yes, it is the worst for me, I was not exaggerating when I said comatose. Don't get me wrong, I am not ungrateful. A local Jewish group was delivering the Meals On Wheels packet that day and they very generously added an extra lunch bag for all the MoW recipients. I am sure most of the MoW recipients were ecstatic. I, utterly lacking in will power and also utterly lacking in tolerance for sugar, was lying on the floor beside my bed for nearly three hours but that does not mean I was unappreciative of their efforts.

I had an impossible burger at a Red Robin a few months ago and I don't think I could have told the difference in a blind trial. But my taste buds have been burnt off with years of drinking cheap whisky.

Not sure about the healthiness of Coconut Oil, Wikipedia disagrees that it’s healthy but I really don’t have a strong opinion either way.
Either way they are likely less healthy than ground beef, but I don’t think being healthy is the point of impossible meat. It’s for people that don’t want to eat meat.

This is the recipe for what I use.
Quarter cup of soy sauce
tablespoon of roasted sesame oil
tablespoon of vinegar
teaspoon of garlic powder
teaspoon of onion powder
tablespoon of smoked paprika
tablespoon of hot sauce
2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
2 tablespoons of no sugar added ketchup
salt to taste
Mix well and start tasting it. Add
more soy or more ketchup or salt
until you get it where you want it.
I like lots of smoked paprika. Makes
it richer and a darker red.

Over the course of a day drink a few Coke’s, eat aforementioned junk food, and you’ll probably be at around 200 g of sugar.

You should try Carolina mustard based barbeque, then. Make your own from dry mustard powder in the spice aisle, chili powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, oil or mayonnaise base, or dry rub with just the spices. You might try a half-teaspoon of allspice in it - good in meat dishes. Can also mix in some vinegar for a wet sauce.

I might try that, I have all those

This is false when applied to eating fruits that contain fiber and polyphenols.
I'm pretty sure I will. Only saving grace is I'll be drinking Michelob Ultra Gold so a 12 pack is only about a 1,000 calories.

I won't, but mainly because pretty much every snack food has too many carbs for me.
Here's today's lineup: a cup of cereal for breakfast, a burger (well, about 2/3 pounds of ground beef, some cheese, turkey bacon, and spinach, with a low-carb tortilla for a bun) and a mini-cob of corn for lunch, and a reheated meatball sub and some french fries that I got yesterday for dinner - 3:30 is a little early for dinner, and I don't want to wait until the game ends (after 7:00) to eat, so the only time I have to do it is at halftime, which doesn't leave me time to cook anything from scratch.
Asparagras 4 servings; coffee x2; water x4; one apple dusted with cinnamon; spaghetti x2 with spicy sauce; a slew of pills. And four avocados one of which did not pass inspection, so I tossed that one. Finished the pound of spaghetti with a much less spicy sauce.

Straight cayenne pepper is a little too hot for me, thus the chili powder, which has some in it. Hotter bbq, absolutely go with cayenne, and I think vinegar for sure to balance it. Hope you find a combo you like.

I know you say this in fun and I understand...I really do. I was a sugar addict. That means I had something sweet EVERYTIME I ate. It took me maybe a week to kick the sugar and it was hard. The fasting was the easy part as after 4 days of low carbs the hunger pains went away. I did get hungry at times but just had a few pecans and was fine. I drank lots of water and that also keeps you full.
Hey a 16 hour fast (or what ever number you choose) sounds hard but I would eat something when ever I wanted for 8 hours. The trick was I kept my calories in check. Tried for 1200 a day. I would say eat until 6pm. The next morning I would have some coffee or tea and would be good until I started to eat again. Ate a lot of eggs, meat and broccoli.
