The Powerball Jackpot has been won! It was a SPLIT, however as two people in different States had the same exact numbers. So, with the split, the gross ended up being 375 million each as a gross. Add the 33 percent tax and each person gets like 250 million. Or a quarter of a billion on just a $2 Lottery ticket. :)

Nectar of The Gods.

Fill a bowl with Captain Crunch and milk.
Leave it in the fridge overnite(8-10 hours, no more)
Scoop out the Captain Crunch and put aside about a dozen individual pieces.
Pulverize the rest of the Cereal in blender
Put the milk in a blender, and add one serving of Liquor #43

Add one or two scoops of Cookies and Cream Ice cream( or your favorite)
Blend.
Add the remaining cereal, a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Give it a five second spin and serve .

The more daring might add a second shot of Kahlua but be careful. The alcohol and sugar combination produces an unusual buzz.

It sounds like you need to host a party and serve that to us. A Captain Crunch and Kahlua milk shake sounds wonderful.

So both of my Casino Miami and Hialeah offers are rescinded now. Boo! :/ No Halloween pun intended. ;) But there is a silver lining. Gulfstream Park sent me a flyer for $40 in free play starting November 6th. :D

I'm seriously considering voting for Andrew Gillum for Governor of Florida. He seems humble, warm, a good guy and down to Earth. I first noticed who he was during his marketing poster for Governor and he had a tagline,"I walk it like I talk it," and I thought,"God, that's so corny, but there was something refreshingly honest about it. And slightly different about it. So many marketing posters for offices say stuff generic stuff like,"Leadership and Integrity, vote for Barbara Jordan!" But Andrew's poster seemed like he is personally talking to the public himself. There is something that seems really good about Andrew, so he's getting my vote and I usually don't vote in non Presidential Elections! :D

This is why I have adopted a policy of not reading the political threads in this forum. I take no enjoyment from this kind of vomit-slinging (on both sides of every issue).

Arguing on this forum will make no difference in how this country is run. It will simply raise your blood-pressure and stress level and potentially end your life sooner. The people you love will weep for you - that is all you are accomplishing.

Should Slot machines stop screaming "Big Winner?" I think they should. I remember someone who was just minding his own business playing near me won $5,000 on a Quick Hits machine at a $5 bet when he got 9 Quick Hits symbols. The machine screamed,"Big Winner! Big Winner!" Along with big flashing. A huge crowd crowded around to see. He had an uncomfortable look that clearly read, "Great. Now a bunch of people know that I won $5,000! I just might end up screwed!" I don't blame him especially with recent reports of people being mugged and robbed of their winnings. Someone even got mugged for a $50 win! O.O Imagine a $5,000 win! A guy minding his own business playing his machine got knocked out of his chair by a crowd that rushed by when a woman playing won $80,000 playing WOF. The woman was unnerved and smartly asked the Casino staff to pay her in the back in private with a check. Most people do not want complete strangers knowing they won thousands of dollars on a machine. Who could blame them(Look at my recent sentences).

Dear Nathan,
Last month, with the lotto at multibillion dollar amounts, I drove to California to buy tickets. Several people asked me to pick up tickets, which I did. One of them has evidently forgotten about it and didn't repay me. He's a great guy who I'm sure wouldn't screw anyone, let alone a friend. How would you handle it?

Its a restaurant chain. Closest one to NYC is right outside Newark Airport, but they are scattered throughout NJ and PA.
