The thread is about the Force, how does
discussing SW ruin it? Isn't 'force' one of
the movies catch phrases, or am I thinking
of another schlock series..

I think the thread was about Obi Wan Mueller and the secret dossier plans being leaked

Darth Cohen was attempting to save Emperor Trump by kidnapping Princess Hillary to extort the Rebels plans which they attempted hacking

Count Dooku Sessions was playing both sides while Yoda Rosentein kept the Force in balance

Republican Ewoks needed to be convinced there was a problem

EDIT: gotta leave out meetings with Jar Jar Binks and his people who were clearly Russians meeting with the Rebels. Too much ammunition for EB and AZ

Saw that on opening night. There was a row with kids behind us (4, ages 6-15) with a mom who obviously spoke no English what so ever. They stayed the whole film.. even the end scene.

Why oh why is Hans Solo getting his own movie? Shouldn't LUKE be the one to have his own movie? Also I think that the amount of Star Wars movies is getting out of hand now and I honestly thought that after The Last Jedi was panned badly they would have stuck a fork in the SW series, but no. Seriously, a standalone SW movie, Rogue One was received better than a sequel(TLJ) and even a first movie, Black Panther did better than TLJ which is part of the popular SW phenomenon! I can't believe Hans Solo has his own movie. What next? Yoda having his own movie? How about Cp320 or whatever the name is? Rd2(spelling?) Chewbacca? Princess Leia? When will the madness stop?

In most of the fiction written after the original films, Luke gets the short end of the stick.

TLJ is 91% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and made $1.3 billion worldwide.

The only people who "panned it badly" were basement-dwelling incel trolls online.

I don’t know billryan’s motive, but I’m almost certain it doesn’t have a thing to do with Star Wars.

Plus, Star Wars is trash. The only good part is that one funny dude with the rabbit ears. I’m not sure if he’s an “Ewok” or some other animal or mystical creature.

Rogue One is 85% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

To be fair, critics are the ones giving fresh tomatoes on Rotten Tomatoes, not the general audience. Let's say The Hacker about a hacker who breaks into Fort Knox Treasury gets a 3 percent Fresh Tomatoes on RT. Critics saying something like,"I found The Hacker to be mind numbingly absurd. This movie made it seem like breaking into Fort Knox was relatively easy which it isn't, it's one of the most protected systems in the world and in reality, Ressing would have had about a million times more difficulty hacking into FKT than he did in this movie The only bright spot was the lead actor, Thomas Charleston's charismatic and enthralling portrayal of The Hacker , John Ressing. That's the only reason I am even giving it three fresh tomatoes."

The general viewing audience. "Wow! The Hacker was a fun, fantastic, edge of the seat movie! I loved it! I'm definitely going to see it again! And I'll tell my friends and family to see it too!" On a hypothetical side note, for the trailer for The Hacker on YouTube, comments say,"I loved this movie! Very fun and fantastic! There is 5000 thumbs up and 5 thumbs down. Comments also say,"5 people work at Rotten Tomatoes," 5 people work for Fort Knox." LMAO! So RT does not reflect the general viewing audience. ;)

It's actually better than lotto because watching the movies makes you stupider than you were before, and therefore more likely to see the next space men movie, and to pay even more.

I'm not sure what the original post was about , however, it may be due to the fact that after 18 years me and my GF actually got married the other day.

Many of the forum members who I am friends with in RL, mostly people who live in Vegas or I happened to know would be in town attended.

Afterwards we all had dinner and then we invited evyone back to my house for cake and drinks.

At some point a poker game broke out.

There was A side bet, (I think I had to give 5 to 1 to Mike) if ZK would know what the name of a baby kangaroo was.
Nope(yet Nathan knew ) WTF!! How can someone not know this? Don't you learn that when you are 5 years old? I was not to happy losing that bet.

There were some people who may not have been invited, even though I do consider them friends, please don't take it personal, at some point it would have gotten out of hand, originally was just supposed to be like 10 people or so. At some point, my now wife, was like..." You go to to stop inviting people" as there was a limit for the location we booked. I also didn't want to invite people who live far away and they feel obligated to make a special trip for the wedding.
Everything went well, better than expected. I would like to thank everyone that came and helped make it a great day.

Meh, I don't need my own thread for an announcement. I'm not one to make a big deal out of thing's. I don't need to announce every time I save people from burning buildings.

Actually, it's a an AP work thing I could not really get out of.

It's not like we just meet and got married. It was not really a trudininal wedding ( somone even wore cargo shorts) with all the bride's maids, best men and all that jazz. We dressed up for a nice cake and did the dinner and gathering. We have been together for 18 years, so we are going on a delayed Honeymoon this summer to Washington State. We travel for plays often, but since we have lots of critters and love our place and being at home we are not big on fancy vacations. It's not like we actually ever need a vacation since our life is fairly easy going for the most part.
