Saw a story in Forbes about this.Thought it was pretty cool .They have made 3mx3m grids of the whole world.
Every grid has a 3 word name assigned to it.47 trillion total .Some delivery companies are already using it.

I like how table.lamp.spoon isn't even a location on the grid. :)
That's pretty cool though....might have to start using this.

What a waste of time and money. Why would I want to use this? Someone asks where you live
Oh I live on concrete.alphabet.superstitious why would I want to use 30 letters that mean nothing when I can give a street that everyone knows.

In some countries Costa Rica,Brazil and others there are no street addresses ( The U2 song The streets have no name is about this).

I lived in a house in Mexico that didn't have a street name. None of the streets in that neighborhood had names.
I think it's a cool idea. Not sure how practical it'd be, though, or if it'll "take off". But I think it might be cool, if say, you're in a casino and you're meeting or looking for someone...then you can tell them you're at kitchen.klondike.kilo.
