As a kid, was big on models, especially WWII planes.
I would buy the kit with glue(the toy store would only sell you glue if you also bought a model)
Take it home.
Glue all the pieces, paint and decals.
I would hang them from my bedroom ceiling as if they were flying.

Was in Vegas last week, decided to check out the container park.
They have a toy store there.
just killing time.
Browsing and noticed a metal earth 3d laser cut model display.
I was very intrigued.
I bought one of the most complicated, Himeji Castle

Having fun putting it together. tweezes and a magnifying glass are a must.
No glue, tiny metal tabs to be folded or twisted
Some metal pieces have to be bent and shaped with a curve, a little more involved then old plastic models.
A lot of fun.
Will probably buy more

A work in progress
Maybe I should have started on a easier one

Its just a forum. Nothing here to get obsessed about.
