for all this hype... prime day was the worst i've ever seen for "deals". Most everything was averagely priced and most of it was junk. I also don't understand the point behind the "waitlist" or how it could fill up and am thinking it was either faked, or there are a lot of idiots who bought random worthless junk. For instance I saw the game "Simon"(that color pattern game) was listed for $12. The game was 100% sold out, had a waitlist, AND it was full.. is paying $12 for a non-trendy toy from the 70s a good deal? Apparently...

I don't know about "junk," but I also found it a waste of time, with its timed deals. In fact, I actually did see something I liked on Amazon (who knew Shout Factory had released the complete set of The Phil Silvers Show (probably better known as just Sergeant Bilko - and apparently it includes the episodes that were left out of syndication), but my first thought was, "I'll hold out until Cyber Monday for this."

For some reason I don't like amazon, perhaps I'm just not familiar to the set up. I haven't actually bought anything from them. I find the buy it now feature on Ebay more convenient. I won't bid on anything anymore. I won a bid on a broken laptop for a good price (I needed the parts). The seller sent me a message with some BS saying he couldn't in good conscience sell it to me, as it wasn't in the condition he previously thought. I told him I wanted it anyway. He then said something like he couldn't find it in his inventory.. WHATEVER!! I seen the same one up for auction some time later. Similar things like this happened. So I just gave up.
Anyways, I looked Walmart who was supposedly having an even better sale than Black Friday, It was BS It was horrible. I actually got some really good deals last year during Black Friday. The following were guaranteed and no big lines
$200 for a few 50" TV's., 32" TV for under $100, a few Really good WINDOWS 8.1 tablets for $100. $130 phone for $30. I may do it again this year
Hopefully everyone will complain and give them all hell.

I wish I had your foresight on this one......I kept waiting for something to happen saying to myself "Are you kidding me!"........2:38 of my life I won't get back!
