Blocked threads
I know that some people don't see any sense in blocking threads. But I obviously enjoy this feature.
They never come up in the newest threads so I don't have to scroll past them. I appreciate that.
I would think that with so many threads blocked that I'd have members blocked too. Oddly enough, I have no members blocked.
Since I went to the trouble to count them I thought I'd throw it out in the "off topic" section.

I've never blocked a thread or a member and probably never will. Some swear by it but I want my money's worth. :-)
I also do not have anyone blocked. It would be neat to have a thread that shows the stats on who has been blocked the most.
Like 1BB, I block no threads, nor do I block people. I just ignore what I don't like.
Just for fun, I'm going to block this thread as the first thing I've ever blocked here...
I only have one person blocked because I find them to be incredibly racist and stupid. Yet, like the masochist I am I often find myself clicking "Show it to me anyway."
For a long time Casino chip thread was taking up one of those spaces daily. I just do not follow it, so things like that get bumped.

I just blocked a moderator but I am not sure if it really works; plus I don't want to miss what that moderator writes because I find it worth reading even though we might disagree on a few things...so I am unblocking now...
(edit...it did work...it showed that someone that was blocked at made a post...actually it seems annoying because it says that a post was blocked every time in a thread that the person made a comment. I can just not read them instead...)
I did notice that the "flag" option for posts is not available for moderator comments....

2400 blocked. I block 90% of the threads
and never read or post in them, yet I have
over 16,000 posts. It cracks me up when
people accuse me of commenting in every
thread, what a joke. I would take screen
shots of the blocked threads to prove it,
but don't feel like it. Just take my word
for it. Best feature this place has.
