The smoke cessation industry has taken a couple pages from global warming industry book of tactics. The reference study is seriously flawed, although it gave the check writing sponsors the answer they were looking for, it failed to apply basic scientific procedures. The study looked at one county in Minn. that had widely banned tobacco use. Turns out, the entire state experienced about the same results without the ban.
