I was thinking about writing a story for the general site about the different craft bars and breweries in Las Vegas from my visits. For those who dont know Vegas offers many choices from small local breweries to higher priced places like Public House in Venetian & The Pub at Monte Carlo.

Does anyone see value in this before I put a few hours into writing it up and proofing it? And anyone who reads my posts knows I need proofing from time to time.

Your writing may need proofing most particularly after you have consumed some micro brews though its been my experience that a fresh beer made without preservatives or other chemicals can allow someone to drink up to 3 times his normal limit in beer and still not suffer too badly in the morning.

Dicegrrl would post photos of her refrigerator: six different brands of microbrewed beer and two different brands of barbque sauce.

I've heard that a Meadery opened in NLV... trying to track down the details.

Just wondering how the quality of the final product is out of Las Vegas, when compared to established microbrew meccas such as Portland.

do an article for the site

All of my Vegas trips include craft beer. I would be interested to hear what you have to say.

Please write it up. In my opinion it is one of the most useful things about this site, recommendations and reviews of places that I would otherwise never know about.

btw, thanks to whoever first recommended The Golden Steer. It was an outstanding experience, real unique character and I won enough at blackjack that I didn't feel guilty about the expense.

I've had a couple of top quality local brews in Vegas. I wish I could remember their names... but when I went to a beer a few years back there was some decent local brews. Its not the treasure trove that is Oregon, but there's good stuff brewed there.
