Missing a step between 5 and 6. 4 and 5 seem about the same to me... and I wouldn't call 3 "curvy"...

Fat? Not really. If I saw her in normal clothes there is absolutely no way I would think she's fat, just a little chubby. I completely agree that there should be a step between 5 and 6.

On the other hand, she probably shouldn't be wearing a two piece. She doesn't really have the body type for it.

Notice the ratio of her breast to her head, or her ass cheek to her head.
She is well proportioned but fat.

I dated a girl with the physique similar to 8. Professional trainer. This is the best proof I've had that like doesn't date like.

I think I'd consider 5 at least "chubby." 4 seems pretty normal to me, and 3 I certainly don't think I'd call "curvy," not in the way they mean.

Yes- #5 is fat.

I would change #3 from "curvy" to "freaking hot"

I would like to see the same list with men. Just to compare people's perceptions. Cos I believe they will be different.

#5 is right on that line. I went with, "Not fat," just by virtue of her not having any cellulite on her thighs or stretch marks, if either of those things were the case, then I'd have probably said, "Fat."

How is #4 chubby?

I dont know who put the list together, but it is hopelessly skewed IMO. I would start with normal from number 3, curvy 4, Chubby 5.

It only shows negative connotations for the overweight possibility. It doesnt label 0 as anorexic, which is a distinct possiblity. For mr it is an example of of a negative skew in body image issues towards overweight being to only problem.

I think that this underlines the reaction of the pictures depending on who the target audience is. If these photo's were shown to a group of catwalk models then '1' or even '0' would be 'normal' with '3' being fat - if it was shown to 100 people in a buffet line then '3' could be considered 'skinny' :-)

'5' is a borderline one IMO ... I think that the reader's age would be relative too - I would consider '5' fat when I was in my 20's but now have more flexible limits as to what is overweight or not. IMO '3' has the best body out of all of them.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am fat.

I am also 26 and 5 to me is a normal and attractive womans body. Might just be my personal preference.

3,4, and 5 are all attrcative to me.

I rate a woman by how she looks in jeans. #5's
butt would look like a sack of watermellons trying
to get free. I don't like it when you have to use a yardstick
to measure how wide her ass is in a pair of Levi's.

#3 and #4, and #5 with Grey Goose. But #5 is actually fairly fine, - essentially doable on a Tuesday if it is raining, or even on a Saturday afternoon. Okay: #3 through 5, all fine.

0 is a skeleton, not "skinny". The term "skinny" has neutral/positive connotations, 0 doesn't cause such.
2 is skinny, 3 is normal, but I think the chart's author wanted to make a point.
5 is already between o/w and obese in the medical sense, that has to count as fat. It's an angle shot, look closer.

6 is morbidly obese, 7 is just a more extreme example of the same.
Although I guess the term "obese" in normal life is only used for morbid obesity, but there's no reason to use that medical term in the same line then.

We shouldn't adjust terms based on fashion and circumstance. If skeletons go into fashion, that doesn't make normal people fat, and vice versa, overeating just makes the whole nation fat, doesn't redefine what being fat means.

#5 very decent, maybe a shot of vodka.

For most of the members here, - she's better than they had ever seen without paying. Not speaking for myself, - take a look of our men's group photo from the last WOV get together. Intlligent men, yes, Models, honestly, now.......

That's either sobering, or drink-inducing.....

my opinion is the darker your skin the fatter you can get away with being. so if youre white and fat you should at least go tanning.
