I saw the original blog entry. There really wasn't anything there that I thought would be confidential or that Mike might have regretted posting. The tone of it made it seem like there are no hard feelings, with the possible exception to the somewhat sudden and unexpected nature of this.

At any rate, best wishes for whatever the future brings, Mike.

I believe he would have had to work there for six months, if the Rules are the same as in Ohio.

I agree that The Wiz spoke well of the Venetian and his treatment. However, subjective interpretations can be fickle sometimes, as can people, so you never know what someone will, "Read between the lines," when noone else even sees so much as a gap in-between. It's best for him not to speak of it until the matter is resolved, and when it is, I am confident that he will continue to speak well of Venetian. The Wiz doesn't seem like a, "Hard-Feelings," type of guy. If you are going to butter your bread in the gambling world, regardless of what side of the force you are on, you have to have a pretty thick skin.

I may look into Vegas later, then.

I also made a mistake about Ohio, sort of. You would have to work continuously for six months with no gaps in employment, non self-employed, (unless you pay your own unemployment insurance) in order to get it, but you are permitted to have worked for different employers.
