Both! Wallet in the back pocket with cards and ID. Cash in front pocket or breast pocket.

I use nothing. Fold my money over my ID and CCW, put it in my pocket, and I'm off.

This. Fat wallet in right back pocket, wad of $1 and $5 in left back pocket for ready-access tips and small purchases. Change in left front, keys in right front, Vicodin and Oxy in tiny watch pocket. Don't nobody try to rob me now.

May I ask if you're right handed? I've always done it this way, too, and everyone tells me it's backwards (I'm right handed). The coin-catch in most pants is even in the right pocket, but that just doesn't make sense to me...

I suppose I'm pretty odd hehe. I keep my keys and my wallet in my left front pocket, loose change and cell phone in right front pocket. How many other guys here never use their back pockets?

My rule is usually....back pocket for the wallet EXCEPT in large crowds. The state fair etc., then it goes in the front pocket.

I always thought that was the key catch, since keys take up more weight and space than coins, so they stay protected in that little cloth thingie. My dad always carried a plastic vagina-lookin'-squeezee thing to carry coins in.

....And carried keys in a billfold-type tri-fold thing where keys were attached in multiple ring catchers.

Times change.

Yes, I'm right-handed.

You forgot the most important element to that equation...the AMT .22LR in your hoodie pocket!

For general circumstances, wallet. In Vegas, I have a money belt with many hundred-dollar bills, and some of those will generally bleed over into one or more of my pockets for easy access.

Wallet only, even though I shouldn't. More than one occasion it's slipped out as I'm sitting. Once, I was sitting at a bench on the Mississippi. The riverfront was cement, at least fifteen feet from the water. As I was sitting, my wallet started to slip out. I stood up and turned in one swift movement, and the wallet whipped out landing on the cement and bounched underneath the fence, literally about a 3 inch gap. Right into the water!!

It was at least fifty yards from accessible shore, so was I wasn't about to jump in after it. I had to watch it float on down the river. Luckily, I was broke at the time, so there was no cash in it.

I am with you in this one. I never use my back pocket, it bothers me a lot. Always the front pocket, wallet in the right, cell phone in the left.

I can't understand how anyone can sit on their wallet comfortably.

Me? Wallet, front right.

Phone in my front left pocket.

Keys hanging from a chain of several split rings and a hook, attacked to a belt loop.

FYI: I'm lefty.

For what it's worth, I have a few pair of slacks that have an inner pocket in my front right pocket. It's deep inside the pocket, but not as wide. It's perfectly sized for my old cell phone. My iPhone won't fit. Not that it does any good since I keep my wallet in my front right pocket...

Women's clothing tends to have smaller pockets, and I hate carrying a purse in a casino or to sporting events, so I'll ditch the wallet and go with cash in the front pockets and ID/CC in back pockets. I have a small phone which fits in a front pocket--one reason I still keep my old Dumbphone even though my husband and two of my teens have iPhones (I also hate touchscreens). Keys go to the husband's pockets. No lipstick.

I only use a money clip in the US, because of all the notes. And then only small notes. Otherwise coins in pocket, notes in wallet, wallet in satchel woth phone, keys, camera, ereader and the other crap I carry around.

I switched to an id/card holder (often referred to as a front pocket wallet) about a year ago and I'm loving it. It holds everything, including cash, at a mere fraction of the thickness and bother of a regular wallet. You definitely want to get one without a money clip, as they would be impossible to sit on, and simply fold some bills and place in the top slot. Here's one from Tumi for about $50, but you can get them a lot cheaper. I got one from Target for $10 and simply tore out the money clip (it was a pain, but it was worth it).

Oh yeah, wallet front left, phone front right. Keys usually in a jacket pocket or something, but if I don't have one, they'll go in a back pocket. I'm right-handed.

Damn it I just realized Ken is using this thread to case us all...I think his real way of winning Roulette in the long run is stealing money from the other patrons!

That was pretty good!! Money folded over debit card and license front left. Cell front right. Room key back right as they get demagnatized so easily!! Not in hotel , cell moves in with the cards and money and regular keys go front right.
