I was looking at this image of Saturn , and can't find the fifth moon. The picture is large, and the other four are just specks. anyone find the fifth one? This must be some kind of joke, I looked all over, can't see #5.

the joke is really on me, as I don't see any moons at all.

Well, they are just specks, and none of them went away with Windex here (could this be the point?). But there is something at 1130 oclock just under the rings that also didn't go away with windex, that must be #5.

Try Fantastik. But the other 4 are about pinpoint size so #5 may be a bit harder. At least Waldo wore the red and white sweater.

Does it explicitly state that all five are visible? If not then maybe it's actually obscured by Saturn. If they are visible, then 98C, you're probably right.

The gas giants ahve what i call famous and pedestrian satellites. Jupiter's famous moons are Io, Callisto, Europa and Ganymede.
Saturn, rings aside, has more famous moons, most of them discovered in the XIX century. These include Rhea, Thetys, Dione, Iapetus, Phoebe, Hyperion (of significance to B5 fans) and of course Titan, the moon with the thick atmopshere. In the 60s two more moons were discovered. One was Janus, and I forget the other one.
In the 80s the Voyagers discovered dozens of other moons in both Jupiter and Saturn, some of more interest to scientists. Subsequent probes, Galieo at Jupiter and Cassini at Saturn, have made addiitonal discoveries.

They may be lost in this reduction. Go back to the original and look in these areas.

sorry for late reply, DJTB. Yes, thats where I see the five. One has to click on the reduced image for it to appear full size. The one towards center was tough, as it appears to be neat te terminator. On my older monitor I had to adjust tilt/swivel a bit, but showed up. It must be rather fast-moving as its "smeared" a bit, or its oblong.
