A year ago I lent $200 to one of my gambling buddies from here who is also on my facebook friends list! When they needed it they would call me 10 times a day, now they don't even answer me. If anyone knows this person or if they try asking to borrow money, DO NOT LEND IT because they will never pay it back!!! This is their profile

First time I saw it, it got me too. I wasn't going to click it but then I was nosy to see who this scum was.

Then my heart was really pounding for a moment until I put the whole thing together, lol.

I would have waited for April Fool's but damn it's only October.

Next time, don't make the link look so obvious. You can usually do weird things with links (partially break them) so that they get redirected to a "home" page. For example, instead of:

http://www.fb.com/profile.php?=

You should have done:

http://www.fb.com/profile.php?=12983471325

All you gotta do is add some random numbers to the end.

Well, in my defense, I copied and pasted from someone else running this. Also, didn't want someone too upset to really be fooled and start making angry posts. I never felt a practical joke is funny if it goes on too long.

I think you can forgot about your money) And in future do not lend money to people you even not know)) I had a lot of similar stories and the majority has not a good ending..

There is clear precedent for banning them.

I don't think she was saying she wasn't returning the money. I believe she was saying I should forget hoping to receive it back as she's had similar experiences.

In any event, she didn't click the link like most people so didn't get the humor behind it. One should actually give her a golden star for not being nosey like most people.
