Holy crap you travel for work a lot. I want your job minus the work so basically I'd like a company to pay me to travel and pay for said travel. Know of any openings like that?

I want to have no work or bosses and you people want me to join the navy? You know they have rules, curfews and probably other things I wouldn't want to do.

Btw I have a chip to post when Konbu is done as a friend brought me one back from his travels.

It looks like President Trump keeps a collection of what looks kind of like casino chips. Maybe a little bigger and they don't all seem to be exactly the same size. Does anyone know what they actually are. Here is a link where you can see them. It is the first story on the news that day: 3/24: Republicans pull Obamacare replacement as bill fractures party; Double-amputee ex-Marine graduates from N.Y. police academy.
It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

Those are challenge coins and probably not Trump's, more like white house got em to decorate the office.

PG: I should have clarified. I wish it was a work trip... but nope, everything was out of pocket, personal vacation.

I can't identify them. They are not in focus in the video, and even when I have it full screen and zoom in, I cannot recognize what they are.

Country: Costa Rica
City: San José
Casino: Cariari (Crowne Plaza San Jose Corobici)

This casino is located inside the Crowne Plaza just off of Highway 1. It is hard to miss going to and from downtown San Jose and the airport. It has 2 PGP, 1 Baccarat, 1 BJ, 2 Canasta, and 3 poker tables. Their chips all have different kinds of flowers.

Right outside the entrance to the casino I saw a metal plaque stating the casino is operated by a company called "Rio tranquility s.a." I visited in the late afternoon and the place was dead. It didn't help that my notes have me losing 39k colones playing PGP, or $70 some dollars.

I walked from here to the Palma Real, then across and along Highway 1 to the Concorde Casino. It was dangerous since there were parts of the highway with very little shoulder for walking. I don't recommend it and would have rather spent the few dollars and take a taxi had I known.

$1 approx 550 Colones when it was collected in Feb 2017.

Why did you plan for only one day in Macau? Seems like a long way from Taiwan for one day.

Casino: Palma Real

The Palma Real is located in a quiet mixed business/residential neighborhood just a few minutes walk from the Crowne Plaza. It has 5 PGP at $10-, 1 Baccarat, 1 Canasta and 2 eRoulette from Abaco that I've mentioned before.

Wizard has written about it in his Costa Rica casinos page.

I don't remember why I was playing in US dollars, either I ran out of Colones or the Colones denominated chips weren't nice or some other reason. The only thing I remember is there were like 10 Chinese and 1 tico (Costa Rican native) spread out in 3 or 4 PGP tables and most were betting bigger amounts like $100-300 and $15-25 bonus a hand.
Also, there are shufflers at the PGP tables and the dealer would grab the cards, move the hand towards the spot to be dealt, then return it to the discard tray, all in a very quick motion if there's no bet. Also, winning hands get paid and collected to the discard tray, losing hands the same, but if the hand pushes it's left on the table until all hands are resolved. Just different procedures from many other places I've played at.
