Hi guys. I am an old reader of the wizard of odds website, and I am a former AP player. My AP nowadays is to run my business, which has made my life very comfortable.

After reading about a particular casino on the wizard of odds website, I caught the gambling bug over the past week and did a spur of the moment excursion to this particular casino and took a bunch of pics. I would now like to post my trip report. Can someone tell me how to post pics on this site? I fond the page with the formatting codes, but all of that is gibberish to me. Can someone give me a simple step by step explanation of how to post pics?

You need to host your pictures on another site and then link to them here, using the img= tag. There is no image uploading facility on this forum.

Nope, don't see it. I checked your post, and it looks as if you have the formatting correct. I suspect the problem is that the URL you link to is not the photo (.jpg file) but a web viewer that displays the photo.

I don't know whether there is a way to refer to the file on photobucket.com rather than to the viewer. They might not make that possible because that would allow you to share your photos without giving them a chance to show their ads next to your photos. I have never used photobucket, so I'm not sure. I use my own web site to store the photos that I link to here. Your ISP probably provides you some storage space you can use for this purpose, but I don't know how to instruct you on that.

I think I figured it out -- you need to delete the characters "?action=view&current=" from the URL. Here is what you get by doing that:

That second one looks fine, so I think you have it.

At least on my browser, the images come out rather large. Before you write a blog and post a bunch of these in it, you might consider the possibility that it would be difficult to read. If you are willing to go to the effort, you could duplicate the images in smaller size, so that in addition to 21a.jpg, you stored an image called 21a_small.jpg. Then in the blog you could post the small images plus links to the full-size images if that is appropriate.

Yeah, the images are too big.

And here's another tip:

Rather than post all your tests, just use the preview button.
