Publix is the community leader in planned giving in nearly every Florida town. They are beyond generous. I could go on for pages about their good relations, employee policies, and shopping there.

I did not agree with the protest. It felt like blackmail. So I shopped while it was going on yesterday and stepped over protestors. Had to nudge one away from the frozen food cooler door he was blocking. They exercised their right to free speech. I exercised mine.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

That’s a perfect time to “trip” over one and smash into another. Or just step on them.

What are they even protesting?

I love shopping at Publix. The options by me are Winn Dixie and Publix and they have much nicer cleaner, newer stores. Prices are actually better than PA on many items and the deli is top notch for sandwiches. Produce is fresh and the meats are good. Only complaint is they took the cash from the major beer companies and shut out the little guys for the most part but they are not alone in that aspect.

As for the protest, it does appear they donated to causes on both sides and in the end nobody wins when they cut everyone off. Sign of the times.

What's a Publix, sounds like a row of fiberglas
portapotties.

I'm boycotting the Strip. I really hate
it, always have. I love DT. Every time
I go to the Strip I regret it. Too much
time wasted, too many people, too
much walking, too much everything.

Screw the Strip, I just pretend DT is all
there is to Vegas. It never lets me down.

Oh, how often do you visit Vegas? Perhaps we should grab a coffee sometime (Black with extra sugar, of course).

Besides work, i only go on the strip if family/friends are in town.
Downtown is the same

Southpoint/M/Silverton are the places i like to go to..close to home and M has the best restaurants IMO.

I never say when I'm in Vegas and
I never meet anyone from forums.
I could be there right now and I
would never say. Loose lips sink ships.

It's not unusual for me to be in Vegas
for 5 days and never speak to anyone
except hotel personnel.
