I haven't played in over a year because of some issues that I was having with my back. I had some procedures done and tomorrow is my first test of my back on the golf course. Hopefully I can make it through at least one round without doing any more damage.

I have played after taking time off after minor back injuries. I played better than expected. Likely because of better tempo and less aggressive turn on the follow through. Enjoy your day out on the course. Hopefully the wind will die down and allow for a clearer day tomorrow (less smoke and dust). I am assuming you are playing in the Vegas valley.

Play golf in Asia ( Thailand ,Philippines etc) is more enjoyable because you can hire a caddie and umbrella girl for less than $10 each. Umbrella girl will carry your umbrella for sun and rain, and chair to sit on while waiting and give you back massage !
I miss all that because I am retired due to old age.

I voted 100+ but if 200+ were a choice, I would have gone with that. To play golf and not gamble is like playing blackjack for no money.

When I play golf, I always bet on the over. Way, way over.

I haven't played for a few years, but I shot an 89 last time I did. Although, that was playing with one free Mulligan per nine, so it could have been a lot worse. Or, maybe not A LOT because I didn't end up needing it on the front nine and just decided to burn it on a second tee shot on the ninth hole upon which I kept my first ball anyway.

I probably would have shot a 92 or 93 without the free Mulligan that actually did benefit me, I put a tee shot in the pond. I put another in a different pond a few holes later and quadruple bogeyed that hole.

Anyway, the only reason I post up reasonable scores is because I am pretty solid within seventy yards, except putting, which is the thing I do worst.

Of course, all of this was on a nine-hole course...jk

I always felt golf was foolish and that hitting a ball away from you and then chasing after it only to hit it into a hole and then remove it was an excuse to visit the 19th hole. Kittens play in such a style, grown men are not supposed to. Then someone told me that golf was invented solely to have betting opportunities and I elevated my opinion of golfers to equal to heroin dealers rather than beneath them.

After an electronic acquaintance informed what her son, a professional caddy, made, I had even more respect for the game's devotees.

Unlike me, SOOPOO got game. Was quite impressed. He was easily under a 100
)

Was 91. But 'liberal' rules. Hand on ball almost all second shots due to the dismal condition of the course. I considered the entire course "ground under repair." I was 8 over par after 4 holes, so 91 was a real comeback.

Ed hits the ball straight.... but not much distance. I hit the ball longer... but not much straight!

After a couple surgeries last year, getting my strength back and golfing again.
The most used club in my bag was the 3 iron
I seem to have better shots using the 4 iron rather then the 3 iron
Ditching the 3 iron and going with the 4 if on the fairway when I need distance

We got a top golf facility in Tampa and just checked it out
Really fun. Combination golf/bar /restaurant/night club
Kind of pricy
Me and a buddy went for lunch and 90 min of hitting balls. Bill came to about 100.00 for both of us
