If you mean marking cards, it's also a pretty serious crime. Are you sure it's worth it?

USPCC, GPI, MPC, and any number of other places will gladly take care of making cards for you.

Marking cards is probably unlawful, and any decent game security will make it difficult. If you're not allowed to touch the cards, you have no opportunity to mark them. If you can't read the markings, you have no advantage from marking the cards. If the markings are readily visible, expect the cards to be replaced with unmarked cards reasonably quickly.

Depending on the venue, getting caught marking cards could be met with something on a scale from discontinued play, physical violence, and a federal prison sentence.
May the cards fall in your favor.

Just bring a magic marker with you to the table. Don't try to hide it just tell the dealer you want to mark the card's. They will help you. The casino won't mind. Since there are no signs saying don't mark the cards it's ok.

I've seen players bending key cards at a game I was playing before, pissed me off because I had to leave the table to avoid the chance of getting caught up in it (difficult to ignore the information) and it was already a very strong game keeping it legal.

Insults like this are not a good idea. Neither is coming to a public message board looking for info on how to commit a crime. That's two rule violations in your first 2 posts, I think.

OK, but will they be balanced enough to pass the caliper test in a YouTube video?

And how about the converse? Can we mark the weighted face of a die? There are no posted rules about any of this!

This is an excellent discussion. I appreciate threads where the true experts here give advice on committing felonies. The tip on magic markers is especially brilliant and useful; it could only come from someone with years of first-hand experience.

Hopefully Eliot you know i was being sarcastic .I would never advise anyone to cheat and am strongly against cheating.
Many good ap opportunities have been ruined by cheaters.
On the other hand maybe i missed your sarcasm.

Look at the quote from DJ above my response. I thought it was pretty clear. Obviously, I understand that most AP's are the opposite of cheaters and many pride themselves on their integrity in this regard. I thought what you advised was hilarious.

I used to make cards all the time with printshop pro and ms publisher and americangreetings.com.

Now I admit i'm just too lazy and just go to hallmark and buy one for like $3-4

My friend printed out a very expensive land destruction deck back in the urzas block in magic the gathering. He glued the card templates on actual cards.

That's what I was thinking. Wife bought a mother's day card last month for 5.99. I went through the roof.

Is that so your bicycle sounds more like a motorcycle when the cards flap in the spokes?

well, they still have basic cards for $2-4, but they have those glitter or sequin or multi fold cards now for real expensive.. I bought a card for a wedding back in december that came with an ornament and it was like 7.99

Most of the time anymore I just don't give a card unless I have to (for money or gift card or really special occasion like wedding).

If you meant making cards, easy ways if you're designing a new card game (i) make sticky labels and apply them to quality poker cards (ii) create the layouts on paper, cut them out and put them with a normal playing card in Ultra-Pro sleeves. Some of you may have played "Race For The Galaxy", I was fortunate enough to play the prototypes and the designer used (i) and Bicycle Poker Cards.

Go to Dollar General for cards. Last year's Hallmarks, $1 card. Less expensive, 2/$1. Crazy to pay more for a 5 second gift.

I spend a little more occasionally on those cards that make noises or play songs. These are only for my niece and nephews though. Having no children myself, my brother can not use the same tactic.
