Other than the low maximum wager, I didn't see any rules or features out of the ordinary. I don't see how it could be considered a scam.

I have never been there so I was just speaking in general. A lot of charity places have horrible rules. But my point was, I think the entire state only has "charity rooms" and not casinos.

Yes, but they also have card rooms, some of which are co-located with race tracks. To me, Ocean Gaming sure seemed like a small commercial casino with very low limits.

Were there any slots? Chip guide doesn't have very many scans for NH and no TITOs.

Did any of the rest of you get a meal comp since the meet?

Yesterday I had a BOGO for up to $20 which I used at The Carvery. The friend I was with got nothing. Our play was about equal, in fact he had more because he played video poker while he waited for me to finish the poker tourney earlier in the month. I finished second so it was either that, because of my birthday month (the reason I checked the comps in the first place) or my table game play, which was flea-level I thought.

On a funny note I received some match play, $20. So I tool 2 $10 and go to the craps table. Put it on Come since I had already been there most of the day and getting ready to leave.

"Sorry, sir, pass line only."
"Its the same bet?!"
"Sorry."
"SEVEN-OUT!"

Now I an am a tad upset but what can you do? I play Pass and 4 is point. 2 rolls later they made the point! Next point is a 5, again 2-3 rolls and they make the point. $20 into $60 in 5 minutes, not bad!

It's harder for dealers to put the coupons in the boxes up top and keep track of whose it is. Not like it's hard when only 1 or 2 people are on that side of the table, but that's the reason they always use.

I thought of that, but why not just put the regular cheques there? I really don't care but at the time it just seemed silly. Whatever, they paid for my dinner which was also discounted.

That would likely be more confusing because typically with coupons you only get the winnings and don't get to keep the coupon. On a loss it wouldn't make a difference, but on a win they would need to remember to only give you the winnings and not the chips they put in place of the coupon.

They gave me the cheques for the coupon. $10 bet + $10 match + PASS = they picked up the coupon and put $30 in cheques. While the dealer may not have known I can't believe the boxman would not have noticed.

Oh woops, I missed the matchplay and thought it was just freeplay. Yea, they could've just replaced the coupon with the $10 chips, since it's a contract bet anyway.

Just free play, isn't that better than a match play?

I would guess so, but we were specifically talking about being allowed to use coupons for come bets instead of pass line bets.
