I just wish the police got better training or a change in culture from accusing every person as guilty before innocent. This usually makes the people resentful of police moving forward and become very hard to talk to when a real big crime happens and they refuse to talk. Of course this is talking to people who deal with dummies more then normal people at their worst so maybe we can't expect much.

Would you mind providing one of these examples? I can't think of a single country that does not have some form of organized goverment?

The US government is the guy with the most guns. That's who we have to fear. And why its so vitally important to oppose any gun control laws and to disband the police. Got to think of the future or our rights will keep getting stripped away.

I am very conservative and very in favor of less gun laws and think people should be allowed to carry anywhere in public (obviously buisnesses can set what ever rules they want within their property if they want to not allow any guns or such).

But completley disbanding the police? And fearing the goverment? That sounds too paranoid for me. I fear the goverment because of their ineffecieny and wastefullness, I don't think that there is some massive plot to enslave Americans, in fact I think its laughable to even beleive, that the goverment would even be able to begin to be able attempt such a thing with all of the critical gears that would be required.

But police are necesary to protect everyone. Sure there is corruption and sure there is probably a lot that can be improved and made more fair. But even as a conservative I would say without a goverment (and police to enforce the rules) we would be a lot more chatoic.

There are people out there who want to kill us, who fantaize about it everyday, that is not fearmongering it is the truth. If we get rid of the police (and the military) America will be destroyed. We never had a Navy until the 1790s. America was brought up in skeptism of having a standing military. But after hundreds of ships getting attacked and enslaved by the Ottoman Empire (who also cited the Quaran as the authority to take from the sinners) Thomas Jefferson realized that diplomacy does not always work, not with irrational enemies, and that organized fire and sword are sometimes necesary.

While your idea that we may be better off in a blissful goverment free world is appealing and I see your point of view, it is impractical and dangerous on both a local and foriegn policy level.

All along the strip at various points, especially where pedestrians are vulnerable to a vehicle. Metal posts chest high are going up protecting pedestrians from a possible car or truck attack

I'm surprised it took this long.

I'm a little surprised they are this expensive, but obviously they need to be pretty strong.

Surprised there is absolutely no screening when it comes to entering the casino, whether your driving into the parking garage especially if it's underground like the Cosmo or as a patron walking in with a back pack. I always feared thart the WSOP would be a favorable target being that walking around wearing a jacket, hat and sunglasses carrying a back pack is the typical norm for a poker player regardless what time of year it is. There poker tournament is so crowded with players and rail birds, the thought is frightening.
