Yes, it is.

By the way, some wag asked "what did he get, $2.50?" and noted the high quality of the security camera.

Funny. And interesting rename. I definitely wouldn't make it "My Casino" though.

It was a nice little casino. Food is not to bad, good price. They have had some good plays in the past.

Thw more I think about this the landscapeing was very nice with lots of palm trees and thick fern like greenery kind of looked like a tropical island setting. The inside was clean and modern with a neat atmosphere. It put places like Jokers wild to shame.

Signage like that is expensive. I would guess it was purely a financial decision, and they kept the 1st 2 letters.

Oh no, I'm sure the center of the name didn't just fall off without any thought; it is really the 'in' thing to do to become a hip, slick, fashionably well-dressed casino nowadays, and all your class type joints are doing it: D, M, Q, TI, LVH, etc... Though it does appear that vowels in particular must be scarce lately, or else uniquely hard on the light bill. Even City Center's Vdara seems to be short a few, or maybe ran into some last minute financing issues with their unsecured vowel fund credit facility. Hey bub, can you spare a vowel 'till some bond maturities roll-over in 2016?

Oh, and when I saw the photo here I realized I was in that fabulous place briefly about a year ago. To use the William Hill kiosk. And it was broken. Really, I did and it was. Maybe still is, since I got the idea that I might have been the only person who'd noticed. But I thought the rest of it actually looked relatively spiffy by the standards of what's sometimes called a "neighborhood grind joint" in local lingo. In other words, it beats something like the Oasis "Casino" or the Barcelona all day long, with mostly clean & working porcelain plumbing fixtures to spare, and it didn't look like anyone around was even thinking of whether they could sell any parts off my car during the 15 minutes I was in there.

Now if only the casino had used that lawsuit for publicity to attract customers the robber would have netted 3.00 instead of his 2.50.

Followed your tip & found it:
Quote: VEGASINC - Steve Green

A small neighborhood casino in Southern Nevada has been infringing on the trademarked name of a big Indian casino in Minnesota, a federal judge has ruled...

More at:

And I was disappointed that it was a bit less interesting than what I was hoping for, because I thought for sure there'd be a commercial enterprise with a brass pole, or a performer with a "Mystic" stage name with valuable high-level professional skills in the artistic use of brass poles, involved somewhere.

Supposedly Walmart was going to be called Walton's Market but Sam Walton refused to pay for that many letters on the sign outside.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.
