Food is not a big problem at the poker tables. Finger foods are however, I don't want your nasty ass greasy paws all over the chips. Even worse is if they lick their fingers afterwards before handling chips. That grinds my gears.

Multi-TITO cashing should be punishable by death. Just stick them into a slot machine and cashout a megaticket. This is especially horrible at Ellis Island. One TITO machine, and the cage cashiers are more interested in tipping out the craps crew then helping out customers. Also they don't take amounts over $500 at the machine so you must go to the cage and they think you won a lot, but we all know here that it's a grind.

Black men do this a lot. One of them explained
it's because if they ever have more than $5 showing
on the screen, their wife will come along and want
some of it. So you have to hide all the winnings. I've
had this verified again and again over the years as
indeed to be the case. Yes, I mentioned black men
because they're the only one's that even explain
it this way.

So no.17 is funny. The writer seems to speak from a gambler's point of view and makes comments as if he is quite the poker player........

Why the hell was he playing at Mandalay Bay then?????

Ick.

He fires off his mouth, but his #1 item is thinking that the poor decisions of sub-par Blackjack players effect the cards negatively. Someone should explain to him that said decisions have a positive effect just as often, in the long run. Pot and kettle.

I was playing in Illinois once and there was a guy in the last seat. Average looking but with the hottest honey blonde I've ever seen. Portugese, Argentinian, French and a couple of other countries thrown in with one of the nicest, if not the nicest, bodies I've ever seen as well. Early twenties, pleasant, and, best of all, quiet. The guy was announcing that he was the one responsible for how the table would ultimately do and therefore had to consider every play accordingly and discussed his thought process out loud before acting on each hand. He would hit a 14 against a 6, catch a 4 and the dealer would bust with two 10s. He'd stand on a 12 against 9, the dealer would have a stiff and bust, and so on. Everyone at the table was applauding him...except me. It went on for over two hours and I started pissing him off eventually. I would smile and just remain silent while everyone else screamed and cheered. I started keeping track at the beginning, just out of curiosity because the place was packed, he was taking 30 seconds every hand while narrating his decision and boring me to death, there were no other tables open, and the dealer was cutting exceptionally thin. To make a long story a little longer, the upshot was his idiocy made me an extra $2200. I left still without saying a word to him.

I'm going to have to check again on the parentage, exactly, of *my* wife. [g] I have to modify how I did with her when I'm gambling. Naturally a loss is to be downplayed, but also a nice size win. Sure as shooting she'll want to spend it! But I won't say she demands it for her own pocket.

Some of it is funny, some of it is infuriatingly uninformed. All in all a sophomoric effort by a pretty strong sportswriter.

I witnessed "casino trash" at 7 Luck casino in South Korea yesterday.

A player standing behind a baccarat table was repeatedly spitting on the floor! I'm not just talking a small amount of spit- this guy was even making large sound affects and would spit a few feet away. I get the attention of the suit in the pit, she tells me that a lot of Chinese players spit on the floor. I'm like, WTH! and you allow them to do it? She just smiles and says thats what a lot of them do.

I thought that coughing out loud without covering their mouths (even the dealers do that here) was the worst, but this spitting takes the cake.

P.S. In Asia, when you see people wearing those medical/surgical masks (especially Americans) its not just for SARs disease, yellow dust, or just for staying warm- its also so you don't get other peoples saliva sprayed into your face.

Don't go to Macau, then. I've heard even
the dealers and pit spit on the carpeted
floors.
