It's a nice place to visit but.... I agree with everything you said. It gets chilly in the winter and there's always that traffic. I like the 35 acres of woods that is my back yard.

This would be the biggest for me, and was the biggest shock the first time I went. Here in the Northeast, I'm used to hills, gorges, cliffs, trees, rivers, cricks, ponds, etc. Seeing a place as flat and barren as Vegas was something that caused me to just stare for hours out my window. I just couldn't wrap my head around the place.
My second visit was no different.

Now I'd want to win that Lion's Share progressive to get the machine, but I doubt that I'd get a chance before it's gone. So I'd settle for any hand pay. Haven't had one in Vegas yet.

That machine has been there for a LOOONG time, it might be there for a few years. It outlasted the Lions, for instance.

I live in the country and the foliage is so thick
my house completely disappears from view, as
do my neighbors. I'm not even aware I have
neighbors in the summer. The weather is not
extreme like it is in Vegas. Whenever I go there
in the summer, dealing with the heat is major
to me. People say you get used to it, but others
say you never get used to it. I would never learn
to like it, walking into a pizza oven has no appeal
to me.
