Because I live in Hawaii, I get to go to a casino maybe two or three times per year. Sometimes less depending on my travel schedule and destination.

How often do you get to go to a casino? I am especially curious about those who live in Las Vegas.

I may go to a casino once every 2 months or so... Does that mean I am not addicted?

I don't live anywhere near Las Vegas. My casinos are in Mississippi, a 3.5 hour drive for me, so when I go it's an overnight trip. I get there at least once a month between March and November; I'll make a trip on Christmas Eve if we're having an especially mild winter but very rarely do I go in January and never in February, altho I really don't know why.

I honestly believe that Hawaii missed a golden opportunity before Macau became such a destination.

It comes out to be about once a month. My life is changing though, in the past it was "whenever I can scrounge together the money" and now it's "however much I want to budget". We'll see.

I would say that I go to the casino on average 2-4 times/month for the last three years, though I've only been there once in the last 1.5-2 months and it was not really for the purpose of gambling. Speaking of which, I do need to go back for THAT purpose sometime soon, it's kind of a project that has slipped through the cracks with how busy I have been with things.

I am going to Scioto Downs Saturday after work, which will technically be Sunday in the early A.M. I am yet to use any of the Free Play mail offers I have been receiving since August, so this month they have sent me $75 Free Play per week from Sun-Fri for each week in October. It's basically the same offer that they sent me for all of September, so my guess is that's as good as it's going to get (REALLY great offer considering I did very well there last time) so I'd better take advantage. My wife will also be out of town for a Convention and my kids will be staying at their Grandma's because 02:00 (when I get done) is obviously a little late to be picking them up.

I go on a flight junket 2-3 times a year to Biloxi.
The agent has just added in Lumiere, in St. Louis, so that may get added in.

I will probably drive out to Cherokee now 4x a year, and perhaps to Hollywood, PA once a year.

Living in Las Vegas does provide many opportunities to gamble.
Not only that … but the casinos are also a good source for dinning out, especially with comps and coupons.
And since these opportunities are plentiful, I estimate my trips to the casino
average out to 5 times a week.
However, if the primary reason for my casino visit is to eat, my gambling may be limited.

Have not visited since 2009.
1/month 2005 - 2009
weekly 2000 - 2004
twice weekly 1991 - 1999
2/month 1982 - 1990

3-5 times per year. I sometimes go locally just for the buffet, or when they had a Rat Pack Review show. When you drive by them daily they are no big deal.

I work in a casino as a full time dice dealer (5 days here), plus play at a casino 3 times a week, and eat at a casino restaurant/steak house at least twice a week ( 2 more times), and see movies or shows once a week here in Las Vegas, so...

about 11 (eleven) times in a week. Every once in a while, I visit a movie house or restaurant that is not in a casino.

It has gotten ridiculous.

I hope we can say "happy days are here again" pretty soon. Good chance they blew their budget with what they gave away in Sept.

Then again, maybe somebody took somebody else's car keys away. As my brother likes to edit the old saying, "all good things come rather quickly to an end".

So briefly I was on a similar lark, about twice a month taking advantage also of the above, but my usual is more like once every 3-4 months, and that only since some opportunities have cropped up locally. Before that, a couple of years could go by before I darkened a casino doorstep.

I live in the Lower 48 and I go about as often as you do! It takes longer for the house edge to wear us down, so I guess that's a positive.

I'm from North Carolina, where we only have one casino. I went there a few weeks ago for the first time since 2006, because they now have real table games. I haven't figured out yet just how often I will be making it back there.

I have been making it to Las Vegas 1 to 3 times a year since 2003, and I made my only visit ever to the Reno/Tahoe area last fall. I visit Biloxi and/or Tunica 1 or 2 times a year. I have visited Atlantic City 6 times since 2004. And I have taken numerous trips on which I made very brief stops at multiple casinos for the express purpose of collecting souvenir chips. When I do get to a casino, I'm a small-time player at table games, almost exclusively craps if it is offered.

No breaks at all? Wow! I love casinos too, but I think I would go crazy if I did so all the time. What do you do for fun or breaks? Doesn't gambling get old after a while?

Probably around 3 road trips or so a month, with each trip typically around a 3 hour drive. My frequency can increase depending on my offers: good offers and I go!
