Does anyone know how hotels feel about outside contractors providing in room massages? Can a massage girl walk through the lobby with a folding massage table and not get stopped? The main reason I ask is that I would have to imagine that this would be cheaper then buying one from the hotel spa.

Has anyone had an in room massage(not provided by the hotel), and how did they go about finding a good provider.

I'm quite sure there is no rule against carrying a massage table across the casino. Once I had a legitimate in room massage from one of the girls that do the casino massages by the minute. We set up an appointment after she got off her shift.

I had to put the word "legitimate" in there, because most "massage" businesses in Vegas you might find in the Yellow Pages are fronts for more businesses that offer a lot more than just a massage. You can tell an illegitimate message place the name -- it is always something Asian.

I had a legitimate massage once, but the happy ending cost me an extra $20.

Careful when you shake hands... those girls are strong.

Note: Particularly in Vegas, most such businesses are commercial and they don't bring their own tables because they expect your room to have a bed.

Slightly off subject but I love how the Rio (and I guess other Harrahs properties also although I haven't seen it first hand) has massage girls walking around the casino now. You used to only be able to get a massage at the table while playing poker. I've got a buddy who comes to Vegas probably every 5-6 weeks and loves the Rio. Even though I hate Harrahs properties I'll always end up having a few drinks with him at the bar and the $2 a min massage girls are amazing.

As for in-room massage, I've seen girls go through the lobby carrying a table before and nobody seems to care. I know a girl who is a masseuse and does a lot of calls to casino rooms. As far as I know she's never been hassled for carrying her table etc.

I would think that any massage girl that is carrying a table is more legitmate than one that doesn't.

Massages are easier to administer, and more effective, when the person is on a massage table rather than a bed.

On the flip side, if you're expecting the Happy Ending, then a bed would probably be preferable....

A bed is about the worst palce to do a massage. For one thing it's too low, wo the masseuse would have to bend down. For another it's soft, so much of the force employed would go into pushing the client harder on the matress, rather than on the targeted muscles. Massage tables are higher. They're also more like padded slabs.

Why does it have to be a "girl"? You can be the first person on the board to try the self proclaimed "Wizard of Vegas"'s service

Why?

Because most of us are guys, and when we think about massages, whether or not we've ever had one or not, we'll also think about Happy Endings.

And that means we definately won't be thinking about that guy!

If you were hiring a driver, would you prefer one with experience that owns his own car and drives it everyday or someone that just borrows one from time to time?

But seriously, I would think a male would generally have better muscle strength to aid them in giving a massage and give them an edge over a petite Asian female.

I've also said for years that a masseuse could make the rounds in a casino giving 5 minute shoulder massages for $5 and stay busy full time. I know if one came to my table I'd happily hand over a red chip for a few minutes of relief.

Same, especially if they're willing to provide a happy ending at the table.

That's nice but a 5 minute massage at a poker table is gonna cost you $10 plus tip. Don't be cheap. :)

Well ya have to figure that they rarely work a full hour. If I had to guess I'd say most players get a 10 min massage and while sometimes busy it seems like most of the time they're walking around looking for new business. But even if they give three massages a hour that's not bad at $60 but I'd think your hands would get awfully tired lol.
