Red Rock paying $19 on a $10 place 4/10 bet?

According to a website with oddly detailed information about craps layouts: "Update January 2, 2018 If you bet the place-4 and place-10 numbers at craps you will get better payouts at Red Rock Casino in Summerlin which is about twenty minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. At Red Rock, a $10 bet on the 4 or 10 pays $19 while at other casinos the pay is $18. There is no fee or commission and this payoff on the 4 and 10 is automatic."

If I did the math right, that reduces the house edge to less than 1% on the 4 & 10. But is it true?!

(Ironic that this comes after I complain about their music volume haha.)

At El Cortez, Downtown Vegas, IIRC, a $10 bet on the 4 or 10 pays $19.50
while at other casinos the pay is $18. (Buy bet vs. Place bet)

This is an automatic Buy bet with the 5% vig paid on a win only
(they have 50 cents and 50 cent chips on the table)

the house edge is -.50 / 30 (1.67%)

many do not understand the differences between a Buy bet and a Place bet
and many never will understand them

yes.
I have seen that happen before.
Many craps tables do not have 50 cent pieces so they charge $1 on $10 buy bets
and for those tables that do it automatically, it is ok for the player.

I know the Fremont downtown Vegas has LOTS of Buy 4 and 10 action.
I forget, but think the vig is paid up front there.

The last time I was at the Cal, they had 25¢ chips and you could buy for as little as $5. AND you paid the vig on a win only.

The only catch is you had to specify that it was a buy bet.

Any Stations casino pays $19 on $10 4 and 10. Gold Coast pays $19 and the second time $19.5 SLS pays $19 and 3x on 12. South points $19 but double odds and no side bets at all. Westgate pays $18.

I believe all Stations Casinos offer this payout. All bets on 4 or 10 are assumed to be buy bets, and they do not charge vig until after the bet hits.
