Last December, MGM Grand announced the conversion of the space that used to be "Rainforest Cafe", into "Level Up", an arcade/nightclub for adults that has pool tables, foosball, "laser golf", a giant Pac-Man machine, arm wrestling... and stadium style e-games? Honestly, it sounds like "O'Sheas"

Has anyone seen their group gambling offerings? As of today, the website is mum on them.

I wasn't even aware they were doing this... but it sounds pretty awesome to me and I'll be sure to check it out the next time I'm in town.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

I walked by it a few times during my last trip.

They moved the Sigma Derby game there.

And there is no free cocktail service. (*apparently* I didn't verify this for sure - but people were bitching about it on another forum)

That sucks.

Sounds like gambling isn't even the focus with that lineup other than the Sigma Derby.

I walked around "Level Up." Even though it just opened, it looked run down as well. They had a separate island bar, stadium-style gambling (roulette), but nobody was gambling. There were a few beer pongers and some folks playing video games. I feel like "Level Up" has a bit of an identity crisis. They need to completely cater to the gamers/beer pong crowds or make it all 100% interactive gambling with free booze...

How many seats in the "stadium"? Was roulette the only offering in the stadium? Limits?

Beer Pong? It really is O'Sheas...

Honestly, I did not have much time to snoop the limits, but there were quite a lot of seats (ALL EMPTHY THO). The place is more gamers-friendly than O-sheas. BTW, there are no table games other than the stadium roulette as previously mentioned.

Thanks! I'll have to take a peek next time.

It just sounds out of place next to the Hakkasan nightclub. Kind of like a dive bar next to a chichi French Restaurant.

I'm at the MGM now. Thankfully they moved Sigma Derby outta there and it's back on the main casino floor.

The Rainforest Cafe moved down the strip right next to PH.

The Rainforest Cafe moved to the odd little "cutout" shopping area that is next to, but not connected to, Planet Hollywood. If you take the pedestrian bridge across the Strip from the Cosmopolitan you will go right into it (and not PH, which is really weird)
