This will be my first downtown stay. If it were just me, I'd pick the oldest joint, but for the comfort of the Mrs., I'm thinking the Golden Nugget might be a good compromise between history and comfort.
I was also thinking of the D, but got turned off by the noise factor.
TigerWu, what you saw was Sigma Derby: the coin-operated casino game with a rabid following!
Yes. Tons. Check out their website beefjerkystore dot com. They can ship it to you.Quote: Ayecarumba
Old Trapper brand is quite popular. It depends on if you like the jerky soft or not. That store has a bunch of different stuff, including made in the USA and imports. Lots of dried fruits, fish and shellfish. They also have a bunch of candy and Li Hing Mui powder available on just about everythingQuote: beachbumbabs
So do they have the dried salted prunes on the pit and stuff like that? I'll have to get there.
There's also another place in the Plaza across from the Bingo hall that's got many of the same things, but also has these bagel chips in different flavors, as well as shortbread cookies that are pretty good.
