My wife and I are taking a long week-end in Las Vegas this Friday. The last time we were in Las Vegas together was in 2002; even though, combined, we have made fifteen business/pleasure trips separately to Las Vegas since that time. My wife asked a question that I could not answer: "Where is the best Happy Hour on the strip or Down Town?" She has researched on the web and found several Happy Hours that she would like to attend. Does anyone have any recent Strip/DT Happy Hour experiences to share, or an opinion on this subject? Thanks to All.

I had an awesome happy hour experience at Napoleon's Piano Bar at Paris on my last trip. Draft beer was 2-for-1, they had some good craft brews on draft, and there was a phenomenal motown vocal quartet performing.

Now they got Happy Hours and Reverse Happy Hours.
There is a website for Vegas Happy Hours and a Twitter feed for Vegas Happy Hours.

Thanks. I found that site last night. A lot of the more interesting Happy Hours seemed to be off the Strip. I don't plan on driving to Happy Hour, maybe only sloshing back to the hotel on foot.

Triple 7 Brew Pub at Main Street Station has great food specials as well as two dollar microbrews/wells/house wine.

The calamari basket has always been big enough to be a whole meal for me (and I'm a big dude). This will only be good for Friday on your weekend, unfortunately. The micros are only 1.75 all the time at the casino bar (just went up a quarter after years of being 1.50), but in the Brew Pub you'll also be able to get the Brewmaster's Special and Reserves, which rotate monthly.

Thanks. My wife wanted to treat me to the Seafood Buffet at Main Street on Friday Night. The last time I was Down Town I sampled a couple of their brews and enjoyed them all.

I'm getting tired of all the promotional links you are scattering all over the site. If you want promote Nikki's Beach, or anything, don't just put it in a perfunctory one-sentence post. In this case, for example, tell us WHY you enjoyed the bachelorette party at Nikki's Beach. I want to see at least one well-written paragraph. Consider this a warning.

I imagine the warning will go unheeded.
By the way, did anyone think it strange that a poster named JIM would say that he enjoyed some catered bachelorette party? How many males attend such events much less do so as part of a 'we'?
And does anyone really think that this self-described "ubber-club" must be a really piss poor place if of all the venues they could rent out for their events they rent out the Tropicana!
