1000 flight were snatched up in less than 2 hours. He said he was going to put up more. Not sure when or if he has already done so.

They added more flights a couple of hours ago. All full now.
Apparently today was one of the busiest days for room bookings in The D’s history. So good for them.

I was going to post up about this, but not because it might be a good deal, I have no doubt that it is.
All the comments on Twitter we're gushing with admiration as if this was some kind of philanthropy. So much so, that it made me want to puke.

It may be a marketing ploy, but considering there is no requirement to stay at, or even to merely visit, the D or Golden Gate, it sure is an interesting ploy!

Two of the second round of flights were from Buffalo and Boston.
I was a little surprised that there was one flight from San Francisco and then two from Oakland.

Again, I'm not saying it's a bad deal, it's better than other casinos are are doing but they're certainly not Heroes for doing this. It's just good old fashioned PR and marketing.

I flew for the first time last weekend. It had been over 3 months since I was on a plane. The planes were about 1/3 full and most were wearing masks.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

If you look, most of the days are in the first week of June. If the casinos (anyone's, not just his) have reopened then I'm sure that it'll be social distancing galore. I'd rather fly in the regular way when things calm down and let the die hard degenerates be the guinea pigs.
I was actually looking forward to giving Circa a try but I'm sure it's completion date has been pushed back.
