Got my green dot back, tried to explain green dot to Gj. If status is 'hidden' in preferences, you get no dot.

So boss man don't know you're wasting time arguing with folks on the intertron.
So people don't know what times you usually get on.

It's another element of internet anonymity that people like to have control over.
