Press Release Source: DEQ SYSTEMS CORP. On Tuesday May 17, 2011, 12:24 pm EDT

LEVIS, QC, May 17 /PRNewswire/ - DEQ Systems Corp. (TSXV: DEQ) ("DEQ" or the "Company"), a leading provider of table game bonusing, jackpot and loyalty solutions, announced today that its recently launched no commission Pai Gow game, EZ Pai Gow™, is outperforming all other forms of Pai Gow in Missouri casinos.

EZ Pai Gow Poker is the only stand-alone commission free Pai Gow game in the market. Since its introduction in late August 2010 in Missouri, official state statistics have shown that EZ Pai Gow has been the players' favourite game.

MISSOURI CASINO TABLE GAME TABLE DROP TABLE AGR* HOLD%
Ameristar St. Charles EZ Pai Gow Poker $251,590 $61,871 24.6%
Emperor's Challenge Pai Gow $27,874 $13,388 23.1%

Ameristar Kansas City EZ Pai Gow Poker $246,566 $99,895 40.5%

Fortune Pai Gow $68,983 $29,676 43.0%

March 2011 Statistics EZ Pai Gow $696,165 $235,767 34.1%
All other Pai Gow games combined $267,262 $88,222 30.9%

*AGR: Adjusted gross receipts (Source: www.mgc.dps.mo.gov - March 2011)

"EZ Pai Gow has dominated the floor when compared to all other forms of Pai Gow wherever it is deployed," stated Earle G. Hall, President and CEO of DEQ. "It is the only true non commission form of Pai Gow where the push mechanism is offset by a very enticing optional side bet. Feedback from operators and clients has been very positive and now the ability to analyze the data from Missouri enables us to show numbers to support the great comments we have had. We would like to congratulate Lubin-Jones for this revolutionary invention and we are very excited about the future placements of this game all over the USA."

ABOUT EZ PAI GOW™
EZ Pai Gow is a revolutionary method of accelerating the speed of Pai Gow poker by eliminating the 5% commission on winning hands. The commission is replaced by imposing a push when the dealer gets a Queen High Pai Gow (Queen high hand). Players can side bet on the occurrence of the dealer's Queen high Pai Gow and the side bet is trademarked as the "Queens' Dragon™". This side wager pays 50 to 1 and creates an additional way for the player to win and a new revenue source for the casino. The EZ Pai Gow methodology and the Queen's Dragon bet were created by Dan Lubin of Lubin-Jones, LLC. These methods are protected within the scope of Lubin-Jones no commission Pai Gow intellectual property portfolio.

A couple of weeks ago I reviewed the numbers coming in from the Missouri Gaming commission that they posted on line - for all table games in Missouri Casinos. They tally the drop and table hold for each type of game in the state. (see: http://www.mgc.dps.mo.gov/2010_fin/FY10_slot_table.htm. Click Riverboat Revenue, then Monthly Table/Slot detail).

I was stunned, amazed, really pleased. Just flabbergasted. Three tables got $696,165 in action, almost ($700,000 in play), and held $235,000 of it as casino profit. The total DROP of the other Pai Gow games at the same casinos right next to EZ Pai Gow was $267,262, and they held only $88,222 of it, about one-third of what my game did.
I now have 30 tables out, to a great start. Most are in California or the Mid-West, with the Cannery Group/Rampart in Las Vegas being 100% EZ Pai Gow. God Bless them!

I spoke with my distributor, and they saw the numbers; they were so pleased that they issued a press release that got some attention.

I am sure that other distributors have noticed this too, and I'm sure they're reacting to it in some way....hmm...

But my real sites are on my next two games (One a Casino Poker game based on a friend's Card room game that I did the casino version of - plays SUPER, - and the other just a MONSTER game variant, both signed. Absolutely NO further details until okay'ed by them. Then I will WORK the Game Inventor's corner.)

See, I was telling everyone this is a better game! Was at Canery this week and all three tables were full not a seat to be had. So now where am I going to play? 1st fiesta was full for months and I could not get a seat, now Canery is full? When is this town going to wake up to the fact that this is the better paigow game? And whats up with Stations Casinos only having one table at Fiesta Henderson? Canery is kicking their butts! With these numbers why would they not all be EZ Pai Gow by now? I go sometimes two three times a week to see if I can get a seat and theres never one open? They have two fortune paigow progessive but no one seats at them unless EZ is full? Makes no sense to me? Oh well at least I have a better chance at Canery now that they have three tables.

Designing and Selling new casino games is not always done in a rational and straightfoward fashion.
Hard to explain...

That's kinda wierd since, unless I'm mistaken, that's where Dan works. Or maybe that's WHY it's only one?

I am becoming more and more convinced that very little in gambling (and perhaps very little in life, itself) is ever done in a rational and straight forward fashion.

That's kinda wierd since, unless I'm mistaken, that's where Dan works [Station Casinos]. Or maybe that's WHY it's only one EZ Pai Gow table?

Stations IS proud of me, beating all odds - to get a successful table game out.
But in this business, we have to understand that there were existing and prior corporate business agreements, arrangements, relationships, and contracts that Stations already had in place with various vendors, and I understand that. This is true for any casino operator.
Stations is very, very proud of me, as one of their own, succeeding in this business, and they've have noticed how well the game has done with the Cannery Group, and it's all right with them and me. Good for both of us!
It's like beng a Ford employee who happens to owns a Buick at the moment, no big deal.
My business as a casino dealer is very separate from my business as a game designer.
I'm very fond of, and proud of, both the Stations group and the Cannery group.

I don't know the particulars, but Dan has a contract with a game distributor. The distributor has all the licenses needed as well as the contacts in the casinos. They rent it to the casinos for a specific fee, and Dan gets a percentage of that.

Whether it's a lease or monthly rent or what, is unknown to me. But it doesn't matter sice it's doing well, therefore the casinos won't want to get rid of it...
