First thread but like everyone else here has a dream and passion for tablegames.
Question is if your game may be better online, do you approach the usual suspects first such as Ballys, Galaxy and DEQ or someone else from the online casino side such as Amaya tech or the online casinos themselves.
Does this also depend if you have a patent or pending patent or provisional patent.
At the end of the day any interest at all is the first requirement.
Has anyone started online first with any success and if so any insights from your experience for a complete novice.

Thanks OnceDear but I am definitely not a novice gambler and have wagered on virtually everything that moves or has moving parts. But I am a novice game inventor. Thanks again.

Keep in mind that there's a third option, that you simply get the game out into casinos by yourself, to establish the game, so that distributors of all types will take it more seriously. This is more expensive that signing it away for a small percentage, but you get 100% of revenue, a higher likelihood of signing the game up, and will get a higher signing percentage in the agreement.

Show up at a distributor's doorstep with ZERO installs (as in: "Take my game - PLEASE"), and you'll get either NO deal, or a sh*t deal. Every distributor's current inventory is doing well enough, and will take the position that they don't really need your new and revolutionary game.
At least show up with a patent (provision or otherwise), dealing procedures, basic math, layout artwork, etc.

No it doesn't. If you didn't even spend the $65 dollars for a micro-cap provisional patent, you're either in a "no sale" or "stolen from" status if good.
So, since you do indeed have a patent filing, it doesn't depend of having it or not. You have it or you have nothing, really.

Yes. And you'll get it with some installs, or a lot of upfront work, on top of a brilliant game. And they will let you know either way.

I think Mr. Casino games here is the master of line game introductions.

Thanks Dan, didn't consider the 3rd option as I am based in Australia and the bills already keep rising and its not like Vegas where all the casinos are next door. Then again I knew what I was getting into when I started this endeavour, in for a penny, in for a pound.

Mr. Casinogames seems to be doing very well with the whole online market. He has a ton of great games to his name.

Just curious, did he begin online with his games or did he start out with live table games and his great reputation as an inventor allow him to move into that other gaming market?

Hi RealizeGaming,

I started out with live table games in 2000 with Casino Hold'em® (The first Texas Holdem against the House) it went very will in Africa, Egypt, South Africa, Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia with TCS-Johnhuxley. Later in 2006 Casino Hold'em® went Online (Now 1000+ Online casinos) and is now coming to USA with DEQ.
At the meantime some of my other games are doing very well too in Africa, South Africa, Europe, Eastern Europe, UK and Australia with TCS-Johnhuxley.

Getting your games into Online casinos is just as hard as getting your game into land based casinos.

I am sorry to say there's no easy way to get a table game into casinos (you need a very good game and a lot of luck).

I would also add, "Know your market". For example, intoducing a new game in the USA would be subject to "where" you go. Atlantic City and Connecticut would be risky, as market-share is declining as competition from other near-by areas is "leveling the playing field" (noone has an advantage, like 20 years ago). So when down-under, know your market there, expanding areas trump stable or declining areas.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

Hi Mr Casinogames, thanks for the reply. I haven't taken my first step yet into breaking into the world of casino game development and distribution but the process although daunting, is exciting (like raising a child to be the best they can be, unconditional love and faith),that said no loves a child more than their own parents. Anyway did TCS Huxley distribute to the on-line casinos or was that done all by yourself approaching each and every on-line casino?

Timing, Check out Mr. Casino Games' 150+ games. If your game is not on his list already and / or your game could be better, welcome to the inventor's club. There are a lot of lawyers and math experts recommended in the forum.

Otherwise, love Stephen's child as your own. You save a lot of money.

Hi Timing,

Good Luck with your New Table Game.
Keep in mind for the land-base, a lot of your time and money will be spent on travelling and hotels.

Hi Mr CasinoGames
This might be a stupid question but, when you approached the on-line distributors did you just give them the details of your game and they developed the software to run on their systems (that is each distributor developed their own software) or, did you have the on-line version of casino holdem already developed by an online game developer and each distributor used this one version.
