Surely not :)

Buzz, our game will be installed in a casino in Switzerland on the 27th February on a "fun night". The casino Director wants to see the game perform where no money is involved. After that the casino will reply for our Swiss gaming license and the game will go live on or about the 8th March.

We aren't expecting much but at least our feet are in the door.

As most of you guys said, this game will more than likely not work in the USA (and it turns out we will have patent issues anyway) but we have no such issues in Europe or most of Asia.

You guys sure are the class clowns :)

Would love to meet both you old codgers one day!!! LOL

If Buzz ever met me he'd realize I was the one
who stole his motorcycle in 1971 and he'd try
and get money out of me.

Fun nights usually aren't a good indicator. But you have made it a lot
farther than the average guy. CONGRATULATIONS.

I would NEVER suggest anything underhanded, but when girls I went to dealers schoolwith, would deal LIVE for the first time after passing an audition, me and Josie would show up at their table.
Just to help the dealer get over her jitters.

If fun night is open house, I'd have friends 2 deep waiting to play my new and exciting game. Nothing unfair about that.

It's what happened when it goes LIVE for real that matters.

GOOD LUCK

Then it's cobwebs and crickets.. Hey, that would make a
good title for a country western song. Buzz probably
has his lawyer trademarking it already. Thief..

I thought you were calling me a thief at first.

But then I read it again.

I agree that a fun night isn't usually where its at in the US but this is an entirely different market with almost entirely different rules when it comes to how they percieve new things.
Also we aren't able to skip the first step, it is a necessary evil if we want to prove to the Director that the game can be dealt efficiently as well as have a little bit of player interest.

The proof will however be in the going "live". Maybe we hear crickets maybe we don't.....Kinda like rolling the dice eh? :)

Not like rolling the dice at all. Thousand games patented every year. A hundred make it to a casino floor. And only 1 or 2 each year establish a foothold. No matter how good the game, how big the distributor, it is still one hell of a long shot.

Great game like Switch, SHFL the 800 lb gorilla among distributors, 10 placements in Colorado, all gone within 6 months. But you have beaten the odds so far. Hope you make it ALL THE WAY !

I am not sure exact number. Was in Blackhawk, Central City, and Cripple Creek. Colorado is still basically a $5 market and you have to force them to play $10 BJ. Putting $20 up front, then switching so you can split one hand and double one of them, double on the other, HELL you wipe out their $40 buy in and have them digging in their wallet on the first hand.

Should not have that trouble with Free Bet. Now, House Money, who knows ? Could be another Rabbit Hunter !
