I'm sure there are. I needed about 7500 points, so I played this at RIO up to 2500 in one (relatively long) day to get the 5000 tier credit bonus.

$1 - 1 Play - Up - in two banks in Poker Plaza (between Buffet and All American Grille)

To my pleasant surprise, thanks to hitting 2 quad Aces during the day, I was just about even. Woot woot.

Not that I know of.

That's nothing. I did something like $70k coin in on the $1 8/5 BP single play some years ago. That......was brutal.

Well that sucked. I played the recommended double super times play JoB 5 play for $70 max at the $2 denomination in the Planet Hollywood high limit area and lost 7k.
it didn't take a log time though

I've been doing some calcs.
@$70 per spin, it's only 715 spins to make DiaD but VERY high variance.
ev = -$525 +/- $13k

so losing $7k is well within the norm but yeah -13x ev does suck.

if you did $1 denom 5play, then:
@$35/spin, it's 1429 spins. Avg person plays 600 hands/hr, so about 2 1/2 hrs to make DiaD,
ev = -$525 +/- $9.3k

I did $2 denom 3play = $42/spin.
1191 spins
ev = -$525 +/- $10k
I lost $2k aka -4x ev

Is the TC bonus always in effect? My buddy wants to do a 5,000 TC day in January and I don't want to mislead him.

Yes, 500+125, 1000+1000, 2500+5000, and 5000+10000 are indefinite.

You have to settle for 9-5 at the $1 level. 3 and 5 play machines (that can obviously be played one hand at a time).

At one point there was a single $25 9/6 machine in Caesar's at the $25 level that gave 1 TC per $10. Doesn't seem like it exists anymore.

Also check for points multiplier. They do stack, but the bonus does not get multiplied. Currently Monday for most non-Vegas CET is at least 2x, Tuesday for 55+, and different tiers get higher mults. Takes a kiosk swipe to get the mults. Not sure whether any LV properties are doing this, but they could be. Local properties decide what days, if any, and what mults.

AFAIK, CET point multipliers are for RC (reward credits) only. So don't think if you're getting a 2x multiplier that you can earn 2,500, get that doubled to 5,000, then get a 10,000 bonus. If you do 2,500 with a 2x multiplier, you'll just get 2500+5000 TC (tier credits) and 2500x2 RC.

TC is what determines your tier level. 15,000 are needed for diamond. 150,000 are needed for seven stars.

RCs are used for comps at CET properties and/or can be converted into free-play. I believe diamond can convert at 175 or 150 RC = $1 in FP, while seven stars can do it at 125 RC = $1 in FP. So if you're going to convert AND you plan on earning seven stars but haven't yet earned it, IMO wait until you're seven stars then convert.

I'm sure BBB knows all this stuff, at least the stuff about the point multiplier. Just writing a note and clarification so someone doesn't do the wrong thing or have false expectations.

Yep, here it is ver batim:

Total Rewards members can earn additional Tier Credits based on their daily Tier Credit earnings across all properties in the company. The more Tier Credits earned by a Total Rewards member in a single day of play (based on promotional earning period*, not calendar day), the more Tier Credits they will receive. There are four bonus levels you can reach:

Earn (in 1 day) Receive
500 Tier Credits 125 Tier Credits
1,000 Tier Credits 1,000 Tier Credits
2,500 Tier Credits 5,000 Tier Credits
5,000 Tier Credits 10,000 Tier Credits

Tier Credit bonuses are based on play within a Tier Credit bonus promotional period and only one bonus level per day can be earned. Tier Credit bonuses will post to accounts within 4 days.
*Promotional earning period may vary by property, please visit the Total Rewards Center for more information.

I second this advice. While you don't get anything from the bonus, if you're going to push for a 5K day, you might as well get the most out of it. AC has the mystery multiplier on Mondays and Saturdays, which is a minimum of 3X, and even my local has 3X through the app on Thursdays thru November.
