It would be extremely rare to see tier credit multipliers other than the odd contest such as quest for rewards. To my experience multiplier days are always just for reward credits.

Flamingo is only 1 long block, same side of LVB as Harrah's, so it's pretty easy. Caesars is a bit further, but technically "across the street", sort of. I would (and have) walked the first, would avoid doing the second, personally speaking.

Parking at Flamingo for Harrah's is ok.

But Flamingo parking is a lot of walking to Caesar's.
Caesar's is big enough, it depends where in Caesar's you are walking to... (could be 15 min or more)

Everyone seems to be missing the point. I don't want to do Diamond in A Day or in two days by playing $50,000 or more on their terrible video games.
I want a Diamond card to get free valet parking, free shows and an occasional meal and a quiet place to meet someone on the strip. I don't want to gamble on the strip. I want to see shows and drink for free.
If I have an out of state client that's staying on the strip, I want to be able to take him to the lounge for drinks, a snack and some networking.
$25 a month is a small price to pay. Are guest strictly limited to one or can you bring 2?

You're kind of contradicting yourself. You want tons of strip comps/access but you don't want to give the strip any action. The only way to do that is to get the founders card, which has a cost to the membership as well. Otherwise, I think it's beyond worth it (for the case you've described) to just do DIAD or in two days.

They definitely have bonus multipliers at individual properties, besides whatever corporate offers. Several times a week, there's something available. My impression is that those local promos go to both RC
and TC balances, but I could be wrong.

Yep. JohnnyQ just do some research of CET places "around" you (like about 5 hours or so) and you can usually find a place or two with multiplier days.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

I don't think I'm contradicting myself at all. I want the advantages of Diamond without playing. Been pretty clear on that. I'm quite willing to pay $25 a month for shows, access to the lounges, and the other perks. Others keep trying to tell me to do Diad,or some other promotion. I would rather pay and gamble elsewhere.
The walk from either casinos parking garage would be much shorter than from Flamingo.

then the Founders card seems to be the no brainer option.
note: you need 25k tc to get free access to the diamond lounges in AC so your founders card wont get you access there.

if a diamond lounge was a convenient drive for me, I'd be there everyday for dinner

Officially, just one guest.

If your recent play is strong enough, you may be able to get a pass from a host for an additional guest. In my experience it's very much based on recent play (I.E. same day you want to use the DL) You may also have luck bribing asking the host at the DL if you can bring in an extra guest or two. I've done it myself a few times and have never been turned down, although I have seen others not be as successful. YMMV

If you go the founders card approach and don't play, then yes just one. I've walked in to DL's with more than one guest on more than one occasion, sometimes they'd look at my play and sometimes they just didn't care, but alas unless you get the doesn't care you'll be restricted to 1 (and if you're taking business partners/customers I doubt you'd want to gamble at the door of not being able to get them all in).

I understand where you are coming from. It's no secret that there is much better "gaming" to be had a block off the Strip in either direction ( Palms, Gold Coast, Ellis Island ), and better drink service, a fun environment, and nicer atmosphere overall (well not EI I guess, but they have upgraded some recently and have a cool model for a future project) than CET.

So I try to find the "right" amount of play at CET to continue to get decent room offers. It's a bit of a guessing game, of course.

Nothing impressive about a Diamond Lounge. I cannot imagIne specifically seeking one out. If stale cheese sticks, wilted lettuce salad, and crusty meatless lasagna is your thing by all means go for it. I certainly would not take a business prospect there. Look into a Mandalay Bay Foundation Room membership for something like that.

So, apparently you've got a much better Diamond Lounge than any I've seen in Las Vegas. I'll trade you three limp celery sticks for one stale cheese thingy.

But, if you check the scruffy gaggle of folks scuffling in line to get into the Flamingo D.L. when it first opens, you'll have a chance to talk to some of Southern Nevada's foremost informal experts in County Corrections & Probation Dept. procedures, the latest trends in new psychiatric treatment medications, the ins-and-outs of Social Security "Disability" payment reviews, the state of local public housing & shelter options, and similar topics from a streetwise ground level perspective. And, knowing some of them pretty well from their time at the tables scamming promos from Caesars Ent. property poker rooms, I find that a few of them are nice guys during the first week to ten days or so before they've puked away their monthly gambling & dope nut.

The lasagna may have been a one day thing. Maybe the local Wal-Mart called and was like, "We've got sixty boxes of Stouffer's about to go TO-DAY, so how about we cut you 80% off on it?"

Caesar's VP-Operations: Can you hold on just a second?

Wal*Mart Manager: Sure.

Caesar's VP Operations (To VP of Finance): Can we file bankruptcy against Wal*Mart?

VP-Finance: I don't see why not...

Caesar's VP-Operations (To Wal Mart Manager): That's a great deal, we'll take it!

Caesar's VP-Operations: (Later that day to the buffet manager): Here, we got a great deal on these, cook up!

Buffet Manager: ...Um...I'm not sure we can even legally do that...

Caesar's VP-Operations: Really? That's unfortunate. Give them to the Diamond Lounge people, I guess.

There are a couple diamond lounges that aren't terrible. Philly has a free edible plated dinner every night. Cherokee has decent desserts and discounted premium drinks (alcohol isn't free in NC).

In Vegas they aren't good for much. Quiet, maybe. The lounges in AC sure aren't worth money.

Man, I should take a pic of harrah's philly Diamond lounge...its like a mini buffet. Salad/Cold Cut bar, pasta station, wings, sides, and desert. Alcoholic drinks are $2 but they're pretty large, not like the freebies in the casino floor.

Bummer to hear they aren't all like that.

Having never been in one, how do they compare to Diamond Jims in the AC Trop, circa 2005?

Ak-Chin's is actually pretty good. You can only use it like 5x a month, and Diamond basically gets two free appetizers and four (alcoholic) drinks. You can trade two drinks for an app, if you'd rather eat. (At least, that's what it was a few months ago.)

The downside is that it's thoroughly out in the middle of nowhere, though technically within range of a day trip from SoCal. (Never again.)

Oddly enough, at least to me, the one in Laughlin is noticeably better than the Las Vegas Diamond Lounges. At least it still was last time I was in it, with a varied selection of stuff that could qualify for a decent light lunch type version of the term "meal." And a nice view of the river.

Las Vegas Diamond Lounges have some decent food on holidays.
Here's what I ate on my last visit to Vegas Dec 2016 - Jan 2017:

LINQ 353 Club (Fri 12/30/16 4-7 pm, same food as Flamingo's, but without the line): Short Ribs, Dimsum, Big Cocktail Shrimp, Raw Oysters
LINQ 353 Club (Thu 12/29/16 4-7 pm): Prime Rib, Small Potatoes

Usually, best you get at Vegas DLs is Chicken wings.

I haven't been to too many DL's, but my favorites include Harrah's New Orleans, where you order off of a menu that has 4-5 entree choices and they bring it out to your table.

Also, Harrah's Joliet has the nicest DL room I've visited; very spacious, with a view of the Des Plaines river right outside. You can even step outside for a smoke (or breath of fresh air if there aren't any smokers). I wouldn't call their buffer "full," but they do have a salad bar and 1 or 2 entree items, plus a dessert bar. Unfortunately, alcohol isn't comped.

That doesn't normally function as a DL, does it? I remember asking them if they had one, and they directed me to Flamingo if I was interested.

3535 No longer caters to Diamond players in terms of comped drinks and food. They will direct you to Harrah's or Flamingo.
