Joker Poker Jacks or Better “Broadway”

Apologies if this has been asked. I searched as best as I could.

I’m new here, thanks for everyone’s expertise and input. I can’t yet post links to a photo, but there’s this “Broadway” bar game locally that offers:

Jacks or Better with Joker, paying:

As far as I know, wild royal pays same as a natural. Scaling up with coins doesn’t seem to add any advantage (I.e. royal is still 100x bet).

Is it worth it, is it a scam, cheating, or a sucker magnet? I tried looking on wizard of odds but can’t find a pay table.

I can’t remember where, but I entered this manually and got a return of something like 1.04, but I could not add “5ok” since I could only choose either Jacks or Better OR Joker, but not both.

Any input, advice, warnings, or admonitions are welcome!

When I put this payout table into a Joker wild, Kings or better VP analyzer, it says that the return is about 1.40; but I question whether the analyzer is working correctly.

I have no comment about whether this game is a scam. Maybe others can comment.

I also get 104% when entering this into a paytable analyzer (JoB).
My instinct says "For amusement only".
It would not surprise me to learn it is an electronic pulltab game.

Broadway Poker games do not use paytables as a way to determine results. You( the owner) can set the payouts to be between 60% and 85% or numbers very similar. I don't know how it works exactly, but I leased several for a few years and they are very profitable.
I don't think anyone can beat these long term.

No 5ok, no joker. 100 for 1 royal.

It looks good because the FH and Straight are rather higher than typical, but I think the actual frequencies of the hands you get are irregular.

On most Broadway machines, you can double up on any hand before the draw, including a dealt royal flush.
