I went to the Red Rock today. The Starbucks progressive is at $41,333.

As Terapined reported, the buffet progressive was hit.

A comment and question.

Comment: I would have thought more than $17 a day. But the math on that kind of thing is out of my league.

Question: Just curious. You are out and about, don't seem all that concerned about Covid. I am sure you wear a mask in a casino as you are required to, but do you have any concerns about being in a casino of all places? If there are a number of people in a certain area, will you avoid playing those machines? Do you time your visits for slower times of the day (like I do)? Or are you just one of those "whatever happens" guys?

You would think with the high air exchange rates, casinos would be one of the safest indoor places, maybe even safer than a plane.

That is an interesting take, but don't forget aerosol spread is only part of the equation. There is transfer by touch and in the casinos you have a lot of touch at machines, especially the buttons, and at table game, with chips and cards. This is precisely why I have backed off my blackjack play for the time being.

I try to minimize my visits. In this case, I went in to get a Super Bowl prop sheet. As long as I there, at a slow time I might add, I checked on the progressive.

That is about as far as I'll take that, without getting accused of making a political statement. You can ask me again at DT for a deeper discussion about it.

Transfer by touch? I call bullshit. Contact tracing does not ask the question; Oh, what did you touch? Rather, who breathed on you? Please, grow a pair, play some blackjack.

I call it giving into fear, which you have done. Since late May, been taking two, mostly plane, trips to Biloxi, a month, no hand sanitizer in 6 months as soon as the methods of transmission were revealed. The bogus sanitation of the casinos is just to keep the old folks happy. All they need to do is keep the air as clean and circulated as possible and wear a mask. Stay away from strangers. Everything else is bullshit.

The last time I seen a casino wipe down a machine(or anything for that matter) was the very first few days after the unlock down. They half heartedly wiped down a button or two on a slot machine.

That's not the Red Rock game. However, during Covid, Stations obviously moved a lot of progressive money from other games into Reversible Royal games.
