taphouse, ultimate X, stp/dstp, etc

im assuming the return takes into account all the times you wiff when you get a multipler?
like this one:

also, for dstp, how much EV does a 20x dealt royal add to the return?
Craps is paradise (Pair of dice). Lets hear it for the SpeedCount Mathletes :)

Ugh. But at least you can find opportunities like that.

1) of course it does
2) 0.117%

I hate having to hold 3 to a straight with a deuce, even though it's the right play in many (most?) DW variants.

When deuces only pay 200 for 1, I think this is correct except for full pay deuces.

I don't feel like the hold comes up too often though.

Since you know a vp paytable when playing 5 credits and you have to pay 10 credits for ux. I assume the average multiplier is 2x. So whenever you have more than 2x on a game you are playing at an advantage.

So in your case with 12x and 5 credits you are playing at approx 96%x12 advantage. Which obviously is huge. So if you do the right play you your ev is huge. If you just hold the 2 then your ev is still huge. So would you like a huge advantage with more variance or a "huger" advantage with less variance.

Hell with 12x you could probably discard all and still be at a large EV.

If you're paying for the multiplier there really isn't ev, because although you're getting more for your money, you're still not gaining. I think it is universal the extra credits for max bet raise the overall return.

Is a dealt an automatic 20x or does it have to be a dealt on a hand that had a multiplier?

Has to have a deal multiplier. It's supposed to automatically be 20x also.

^ This. I reckon if she's a draw multiplier (without a deal multiplier) it'll be whatever the multiplier is. But if it's a dealt multiplier, automatically 20x.

Damn, and I still haven't gotten a dealt RF. :(

Generally there is a small incentive, but there are a few exceptions.

I know that "Hot Roll" and "Good Times Pay" add no return.

Yeah, draw multipliers on dealt royals are supposed to be normal value.

At least your dealt royal when it comes won't be $240 like mine right? :(

My second is in that little circle by my name. :-)

Good to know about Good Times Pay and Hot Roll. I was wondering why there were games so similar to STP and DSTP.

I really like Good Times Pay. The Southpoint has it five handed for quarters on NSUD. That's about the only game I play at SP.
