I hit to royal flush last weekend, I held 3 to a royal and drew the other 2 for a $4000 payout. While the attendant was getting my money, I played 3 more hands and hit another royal flush holding the Jack of clubs and drew the other 4 cards. That's 2 royal flush within 4 hands I could not believe it on the same machine for a total of $8000 payout, wonder what the odds of that is.

I post the picture when I figure how to post it,

Ok here is the videos, the first one and then 2nd a few hands later

I don't understand a poll with 2 'yes' choices.

I don't understand what the poll is about anyway.

I don't know how you could play 3 more rounds on the same machine while the attendant is getting your money. At that point the machine is locked and isn't unlocked until AFTER you are paid and the 4000 credits removed.

But, whatever. Congrats, I guess.

The poll with 2 yes choices was a mistake when I posted it, The attendant unlock my machine and was getting my money and I still had over 200 credit left after the $4000 ticket was taken. If you ever won over $1200 you know that.

Um, Yes, I'd say it's pretty unusual. Statistically possible, of course. Each royal should average over 100 hours of play. Drawing a royal holding only one card is over one in a million.

I'm pretty confident we can say he beat some serious odds in getting 2 in 4 hands and getting one holding one card.

I have hit $4000 Royals many times and have never seen the attendant remove the 4000 credits until AFTER they paid me. As a matter of fact, I would not allow them to remove the 4000 credits until AFTER they paid me.

That is VERY strange. Usually they have you sign the W2G, hand you your money (or ticket), and then (finally) unlock the machine. I have a shoebox full of W2Gs this year and that is how every one of them has been handled.

I thought you meant that you went and played at the machine beside you while you were waiting for the attendant.

Anyway, congrats; hitting RFs that close together is a very unlikely event. Less than one in a lifetime.

I will post the video of it back to back, just have to figure it out, I am in Florida and different casino may do it different, in Tampa, Hardrock, Attendant will print the ticket and will take about 10 mins to get my W-2G and my cash, the machine will have my remaining credits minus the 4000 credits. The 1st Royal, and anther 12 sec video with the 2nd video, will will be able to hear the attendant radio the other attendant saying at the end he hit back to back jackpots.

Just to be clear, I am not saying it didn't happen. I just have never heard of it happening that way. Usually, clearing the machine is the last thing thy do, after disappearing with your ID and social security card and then returning with paper work and money. I think they want that machine locked, playing that cheezy music and displaying the jackpot for as long as possible for advertising purposes. Maybe it is different in other jurisdictions, but again, I can tell you, no one is taking the credits off my machine until I have the cash in my hand.

I know in Atlantic City when I hit a royal flush there, I had to wait and listen to that terrible music for 15 minutes before that came with my cash and cleared the machine, can't remember how they did it in Vegas it been awhile since I hit a Jackpot in Vegas, if they paid me before they cleared the machine. The 15 minutes waiting used to be considered free advertising. Apparently too much advertising and people were being robbed so some have stopped the practice. I know at the Rivers Pittsburgh they don't keep them locked anymore and you wouldn't know someone won a jackpot unless you saw it before the attendant came.

Obviously the amount of time to hit a royal is dependent on how fast you play. In most games it's about 1 in 40,000 hands. 400 hands per hour seems really slow to me, but maybe some people do play that slowly.

Drawing a royal holding only 1 card is 1 in 47 choose 4. That is 1 in 178,000 or so. Even a dealt royal is about 1 in 650k. I'm not sure where you got 1 in a million from.

Not strange at all.
Depends on the casino or maybe states, usually for me it is one slot attendant comes rather soon, write down all the information (everything, including player's SSN, driver license etc)
and also reset the machine so that you can continue playing.
Then you have to wait for a long time for the real money (plus your W2G ) to come, usually at least two people or more, one slot attendant, one security, maybe other persons as well.

This was not my experience in Nevada. I hit well over 100 handpay royals in various locations while I was there. Before TITO even quarter ($1000), ten cent ($400) and nickel royals ($200) were handpays. Though I never really played on the ten cent and nickel levels unless it was multi-play. The machine locked up, they came and got your ID and Social Security card, went in the back and filled out a W-2G, came back and made you sign the W-2G, then payed you the cash. Then they unlocked the machine and asked you to play off the hand.

And I'm like kewlj anyway. I wouldn't play anything off until the cash is in my hand.
