Ive endured/overcame some signigicant financial losses in my life. None of which society deems as gambling.
My closest friends are celebrating anniversaries by decades now instead of years. Given that, I figure I must have done/been doing something right.
I was recently at my close friends 50th wedding anniversary.
In his speech, he said, when we took those vows, we had no idea what they all meant. But in looking back over 5 decades, they faced and overcome every one of them.
He concluded, so it's 50-50? No, it's 100-100.🤔
So maybe it's only gambling if we lose/fail?
Betmaker take is about 12% versus 15 -18 in paramutuel on WPS bets.
The overall handle in Australia doubled in less than 10 years with fixed odds betting. Andrew Beyers was tv handicapper in house at Pimlico one year.Prime bets or not. He sucked.
Name a casino game where you're not supposed to lose.
The second largest casino: the Stock Market.
The largest casino: The I.R.S. The "Great American Pastime" used to be baseball and now, perhaps, football, however beating the I.R.S. has replaced them both. The taxpayer has learned multiple ways to both legally and illegally beat the I.R.S. without consequences a majority of the time. It is not all that difficult.
I gamble for entertainment.link to original post
Not just the usual way people say that their bankroll could easily be an entertainment budget, but it just fascinates and entertains me to watch other gamblers with their odd habits and superstitions. Plus thereís the social aspect.
It makes me wonder why people play slots, mindlessly, for hours on end.
But I also gamble to exercise the brain muscle. Itís a thinking game if you play right.
Before the pandemic, I would go to Biloxi 6 to 8 times a year. It was the destination of choice for me. It was free; rooms, meals, golf, and sometimes, early on, transportation (air). The gambling was fun, enjoyable, at times, disappointing, but mostly exciting and yes, marginally profitable. I met a number of some very nice people including our own DeMango, a really class individual. I gamble because I can, and I can afford it without financial stress or emotional burden.
Like DJ, I watch others play (craps) mostly the "establishment" way and lose. They buy in with a mostly modest amount and play hoping to catch lightning in a bottle or get lucky with a longshot prop bet or maybe get that "hot" shooter to ride him to "glory." It happens, not often, but when it does, joyfulness abounds.
Gamble to win money, simple and quite effective the way I do it and how I invented my own system from MDawg's successes he gracefully wrote about, ect and so on and so forth!!link to original post
Proof is in the pudding and there is a whole lot of 'pudding cash' in my pockets and accounts because of MDawg.
Arenít posts of this ilk limited to the betting systems threads? Why do you continue to pollute what theoretically is a thread that had some potential?
