Quads are a split unless you have a pair to put up.

That just seems crazy to me to do with sixes when they had an ace.

Oh well, it saved my hand!

ams288.

I'm disappointed you didn't invite all the Vegas righty WOV members to dinner.

Maybe next time.

I would have thought quads would follow the same rule as two pair. Weird.

I can only tell you the rules where I used to deal years ago. Ive seen some silly rules.

My home casino will play any ace for the top hand if they have a full house and the pair in the full house are 6s or smaller. I pushed a hand years ago when I had 10s with AJ up and the dealer played 44466 with A3 up. I got it confirmed with the pit boss whos a friend cause the play seemed too stupid for words. My home casino plays for the push so the strategy is ultra conservative. There are a few other silly ones but nothing this crazy.

Thanks for the trip report and the PGP anecdote! Whenever I have some kind of questionable dealer hand setting that gives me a push, it often feels more exciting than a win!
