without pics is questionable and should be doubted and if not updated with pics of ongoing events considered as a story being told, true or not, to entertain the readers?

No, I don't think it is. Many of our members are private about what they look like, where they play, or other identifiable information. TR's are what they are, and it's up to the reader to decide whether it's worth their time to follow them. Photos are welcome and definitely add to the info, but what do you want? Casinos mostly don't allow action pics, or even generic location shots, people obscure their faces, Google is flooded with images that could pass if someone wanted to counterfeit a report.

I would prefer that, if you have doubts about the value of someone's report, you simply block the thread or don't participate. Why let the anomaly change the entire forum for the worse by continuing the paranoiac outlook?

It's only been recently that I've begun trying to get pictures of more interesting occurrences so few of my trip reports have had pictures. I've always tried to keep them informative and fun.

Ace's TR's were unique and entertaining. I don't
read most TR's anymore, they're all the same.

Got to airport early, good flight,
long checkin at hotel, lost $300
at craps, had a buffet for dinner,
(insert pic of plate of food), played
slots, saw a show, went to bed
at 2am. Repeat next day until trip
is over. Yawn.

AoS's were the same. "Lost ten in a row.", "dealer got 7 blackjacks in a row.", etc.

They were about play, they weren't about
what kind beer you drank with lunch. High
stakes play is always interesting. 99%
of people who write TR's play $5 BJ because
they can't find a $2 table.

The amount someone bets doesn't impress me.

It's not how much you bet, it's
how much you lose.. It's how
much you risk compared to how
much you have. Ace is a gutsy
player, he always bets like he
has a 50K BR. Which he usually
doesn't.

He told you his personal wealth? If not, then you have no clue what his BR is.

All that said, doesn't mean I don't think his reports aren't entertaining. If they weren't, I wouldn't read them.

I suspect you understate his wealth.

Remember when he said he only had (IIRC) four clients?

Then he settled two of his cases?

I'm no math whiz, but I can do the math on that one.

He seems a competent attorney (at least the media thinks so: they seek him out for interviews), and no highly sought after lawyer would limit his caseload to four clients unless they paid very, very handsomely.

His trip reports were interesting, but I believe that was due in part to the fact that he constantly updated them as we went along with him for the ride; plus he was a good writer and made an effort to be nice to pretty much everybody.

Who knows with trip reports - I could post pictures all day and people would still knock them too many stalkers out there - plenty of members on here play big- that's why sometimes I wish there were a thread on here for paying members as in option

Maybe you could post a picture of you paying Bob Dancer.
