0% commission baccarat game question...

If there was a baccarat game that was 0% commission on the banker bet and no other wierd rules aside from normal baccarat rules such as you lose on a tie on 5 or something, nothing like that, would this baccarat game be +EV if you only bet the banker each time? Theorhetically if this game existed and you only played the banker bet you would win long term by betting the banker without any commission or house edge correct?

You would be in the same position as the house is when the player is making the Player bet, so, yes.

Thanks for the replies. So does this game as i describe it exist? Since it would have a +EV it would be the best game of bettor vs. the house in the casino, wouldn't it?

No, it doesn't exist--the casino would never let you assume its own role.

How do no commission baccarat games work then, does the house do something to the rules to swing it back in its favor? I've heard people say before that they have seen 0% commision baccarat games.

Yes, the games are CALLED zero commission but more properly should be called DISGUISED commission ... and right then and there I'd walk away from it. You know any casino, on line or physical, needs to have an edge. If the edge is disguised by making rule changes then they are not being frank and honest, so why bother with them.

I played Betfair Zero baccarat and Betvoyager punto banco without house edge.
No zero baccarat from Betfair has only one difference- the commission taken on winning banker bets is only 2.75%.
In Betvoyager's punto banco without house edge the bet on punto is paid 1.0276:1 and the bet on banco is paid 0.973:1.

Kinda sorta. There is a baccarat variant played between players (like poker) rather than against the house (like blackjack) called chemin de fer. No house commissions because you're playing against each other. The competitive edge on banker bets is removed by allowing some latitude as regards hit/stand decisions, however. Is what James Bond played in the books.
The only casino I've ever played chemin de fer at is Casino de la Valle in Italy (Comune di Saint-Vincent). They also offer standard (punto banco) baccarat, under the name "punto banco". You can also play trente et quarante there, if you're into historic games.

Right. Somebody has to elect to be the bank. They can keep banking the game for as long as they want, as long as they can afford to cover all other players' winnings. (How it was played at Casino de la Valle when I was there, and my understanding of how it normally works, or at least did historically.)
EDIT: I also seem to recall the banker being allowed to decide whether or not to accept players' bets, which would make sense.
