Question. Does outside items, thoughts, ideas, concerns and related come into your mind and thought process when you are actually at a live gaming table?

Absolutely.
I’m always worried a system player will show up, which will make me want to leave the table rather than watch him or her go down in flames.
Good thing I usually play alone, if at all.

I personally try to concentrate on my game and try to exclude the outside noise. It is easy to become distracted and make unintended moves especially if someone is experiencing some real luck with very big wagers on "risky" strategies. Also, when what one is doing isn't working, tendencies are to change and "jump in" instead of leaving early.

Because I still don't have enough experience, I have a hard time multi-tasking and don't want to deal with anything else, so I try to minimize all that outside noise.
For the majority of my bets at live table games, I am mostly trying to only think "plus one, minus one, how much is left?, divide, bet".
What criteria do you use to make a bet?
